Loving this series so much - watching it with my mum and it's making sure I keep in touch with my friends as we message each other about it every week. No additional drama forced in to ramp it up (the raku got my heart thumping on its own) - artistry and excellence and good humour

Yes, the actual throwing seems easy, but I think it's the addition of making as many as possible in such a short time, while having essentially a pottery legend judge you, that makes it much more difficult! I love watching too; isn't it a great show?
Not all potters practice all forms of pottery, some specialise in throwing, some in handbuilding. To some of them certain techniques are unfamiliar territory and the pressure is unfathomable.
really pissed off. i watched series 3 and it was a nice warm show, mel sykes was really good, everything i like either dissapears or changes. im totally pissed off about this, the relentless jump cuts louder music, absolute madness, i literally would like to slap the person responsible for this, this new unfunny woman is a disaster.
Peter white was my Art teacher in 6th form, I remember him being so passionate about pottery, not surprised he’s on here tbh

Yeah Siobhán McSweeney is great. She’s so good with the contestants and has a great sense of humour. I much prefer her to Sarah Cox.
I'm confused how they end up on the show sometimes. I took only two semesters of pottery and I could do this. Still love watching.
