The DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) an independent office in the Ministry of Justice has full reign over prosecutions so the federal government and AG cannot politically interfere in the administration of justice.

Let’s not forget what she has read is missing almost 1000 pages of information and has many more redacted. So May’s unredacted report is from previously redacted and partially available information. Not sure why she is even relevant, 2 seats?

@@colinanderson3757 yes, she is reading the NSICOP report and that report is missing almost 1000 pages from the Liberal government plus some of the provided documents have been reacted. Thus NSICOP has created a report from what has been provided to them from csis and the government and Elizabeth May has received that report without further redactions.

The fact that Elizabeth May can get top secret clearance speaks volumes about the state of "security" in Canada.
The fact that Pierre won't get the clearance he needs to actually read the report speaks volumes about him too. She at least read the report. If it's reliable info, Pierre should evaluate it to make a decision and stop wasting everyone's time. If it's not reliable info then what is everybody arguing about? Conservatives seem to prefer to complain rather than actually do anything productive.
