If you haven't seen Loving Vincent, I'd really recommend it. It blends fiction with truth to create an interesting narrative, but more than anything, visual it's a work of art. 🌻

🌻Since you're a film buff, a movie I highly recommend that you watch is Wajib (2017), a really beautiful comedy about a Palestinian father and son duo living in Nazareth. I watched it at a Palestinian film screening/fundraiser at my local indie theater, and it was SO GOOD. It's poignant, and it definitely showcases the struggles of everyday Palestinians, but it's also genuinely so funny and the comedic timings of the actors are just *chef's kiss*.
