      That problem usually happens when you don't have enough VRAM usually with GPU with 4GB or less, but yes the ssd also helps a lot and you can say it solves that problem when you don't have more than 4gb of vram. I need to check with Horizon Zero Dawn i remember that game had also problem with texture rendering(loading) especially in city with the 4GB GPUs

    i have both discs due to size i installed on the HDD but then i realized that the game have a lot of ingame loading times (every time you change a zone or every time something big comes cinematics or any additional animation) seems to preload so if you are just installing always choose your SSD this game have tons of loading screens.

      You won't really see much of a difference between SATA SSD and NVME SSD, to be honest. You'd see a massive difference between HDD and SSD though, there's a HUGE difference.

  • @TiagoSilva-fs3de
    @TiagoSilva-fs3de Před 10 měsíci +1

    Rapaz, a maior diferença que eu tive que na qual eliminei muito das gagueiras do game foi movendo ele do HDD para um SSDM.2, o impacto não foi só no tempo de loading, mas parece que as transições de cenários ficaram bem mais suave junto ao frame time. Não sei explicar o motivo, mas parece que os games por serem programados nos consoles da nova geração, usam o SSD como pilar de desenvolvimento.

    It's odd that you label one as "SSD." The NVMe is also an SSD.

      @@nolyfe4814 Yes, it likely is. He just used nonsensical labels. One should be "NVMe SSD," while the other should be "SATA SSD." M.2 doesn't really matter, as both SATA and NVMe SSDs can be M.2. M.2 is simply a form factor and has nothing to do with speed.

      @Lorenzo Marchese the ssd or hd is not the problem, from what i've found the vram is the trouble with this game, since he uses alot of vram when your video card vram is maxed out the card start using your ram memory as a vram so when your ram are maxed out start using pag memory so hard drive or ssd memory to game and prob works great with ssd memory which are faster than a hard drive, i got a friend he's playing the game in a hard drive and only have 16 gb of ram but the thing is, he can play just fine because he got a gtx 1080 ti which have 11 gb of vram and he are playing in medium settings, i have a idea for those wont install the game in ssd and dont have a graphics card with alot vram, the way is put the texture in low settings for gpu with 4 gb or even 6 gb of vram and medium for those which has 8gb of vram, maybe 6gb works fine with medium probably.

    • @Effect-Without-Cause
      @Effect-Without-Cause Před rokem +1

      It's identical to regular hdd as well, because games load data from storage onto ram during loading screens/events. Storage speed doesn't usually affect framerates, only loading. In the future with super fast storage one could make loading onto ram more seamless, but the process is still the same.

    • @shoego
      @shoego Před rokem

      @@Effect-Without-Cause This game streams a ton of data DURING game play, I bet you can expect worse stutters using an HDD. The fact that he is playing with 32 gb of RAM helps alleviate the problem, but it won't solve it.

    • @Effect-Without-Cause
      @Effect-Without-Cause Před rokem +1

      @@shoego Games stream data during loading events (in this game going through some doors are loading events). the best SSD's are 50 to 100x slower than average DDR4 ram, if games would stream data during gameplay then you wouldn't get stutters, you'd get 10s long freezes.

    • @silverwatchdog
      @silverwatchdog Před rokem +1

      1TB SATA SSDs aren't actually that expensive now. I bought a 2TB SATA SSD 3 years ago for double the price I bought a NVME GEN 4 2TB drive this year. They have a lot cheaper in the last 3 years. 1TB is quite cheap and 512GB is really not expensive.

      no. SSD/ HDD goes via SATA cable which doesn't suffer from data transfer interruption like USB also SATA is much faster.
