It's sad that I spent my whole life knowing and crediting the song coming originally from Bamboo when it didn't. I'm not mad at the Bamboo version, I like that version... But it's just sad that I didn't know of the original content creators all those years.
2022 na, relevant pa din itong kanta na to. Nakakalungkot. Hangad ko ang kapayapaan ng ating bayan.
Yung mga hindi mulat, kahit kailan. Hinding hindi nila mauunawaan ang tunay na lalim ng awiting ito. Kapag namulat ka na, hinding hindi na pwedeng pumikit pa.

THIS was the Tatsulok of my generation. I would constantly listen to this back in college in the mid 90s.
I only knew Buklod was the original when Ben&Ben covered it and they credited them for it
Watching this in the year 2022 while reading the news of Anton Sanvicente na nagpa-presscon pa after sagasaan ang isang security guard sa Mandaluyong -- na hindi naman inaresto. Nakipagkamay pa si Danao ng PNP sa Tatay after ng presscon. Hayup na yan! Ang sustisya ay para lang talaga sa mayaman..
This explains why I felt there's a disconnect when Bamboo sings it. Buklod interprets it like they mean it.

Napakalalim ng hugot ng kantang ito ng buklod.. Lahat tayo makakarelate sigurado. Sana magkaroon pa ng bagong material ang group nito ng Sir Noel!
2021 na sila-sila parin yung mga nasa tuktok, yung mga nasailalim tinatapakan na rin ng mga umangat ng kaunti sa kanila.

I've always loved the original version with just guitars and simple percussion along with Noel's voice. It really hits you in the feels better than the Bamboo version
I've always love this group! I saw Noel Cabangon nung mag concert siya sa Legazpi in the 90s.
This song is comforting me everytime I get so disappointed in politics of our country. I hope soon we will learn to stand up for our poor kababayan. Lord guide us, don't let Quiboloy and the Dutertes to continue their blasphemy.
