Next season is most likely going to be an “apocalyptic” themed season which sucks but you know what’s even worse. Knowing Epic’s history with summer seasons and 3rd seasons in a chapter it’s going to be a lot worse
and chapter 5 season 1 literally felt like an apocalypse

My problem with the season is how Fortnite made the waterbending mythic overpowered as hell, and didn’t vault it with the rest of the avatar mythics
They didn’t vault it because of korra
Main reason they’re keeping the water bending mythic was because of Korra since it came out when Korra got released for BP users
The reason it's here isn't just Korra, it was introduced with the Greek mythics and thus is considered part of Myths and Mortals weapons.

90% of the things you talked about like the skin rarities and confrontational emotes didn't effect the gameplay at all. while i dont like those changes either, it didn't harm the battle royale experience.

My opinions on this season
Pros: 2 new biomes, new mythics, new bosses, Avatar, battle pass, Star Wars, Midas LTM, new weapons, new medallions
Cons: Long downtime, Epic making dumb decisions (sometimes), Greek mythology mythics being replaced for 3 weeks, overpriced collab skins (Avatar and MHA)
Final rating: 7.5 or 8/10
this season was such a fun season at the start ew got so many fun updates and we also got a old ltm back which the community been asking for years i fr thought this season was going to be my top 3 favortite seasons but epic blew it. skins are so much more expensive the starwars update was a fucking joke one lightsaber on the map is stupid. all my freinds left forntite for other games and its sad cause im the only one who plays now. i have no hope for fortnite in the future
They only care about collabs and money nothing else!!!
It really sad that this season fell off when I had high hopes for it but in the second half of the season made the game boring and made some dumb stuff. Now I don’t have hopes for the future of Fortnite it really sad.
Epic won’t learn their lesson unfortunately. As long as Tim Sweeney is the CEO and in charge, this metaverse shit and BR as a whole will continue to go downhill. He needs to be pressured to step down in order to save this game. Which will probably never happen…

I had no clue they removed rarity so I was confused until u mentioned it😭😭
Not to mention they announced that they removed live events and the storyline for the metaverse they clearly care more about that than the community,story line,live events and BR as a whole.
the story is what made the game fun for me like ive only played like twice during the season
This season started off so strong (I played 5 hours on launch day) and just fell off like every season in the past 2 years
Im surprised you didn’t mention the XP. I actually liked this season, including the Avatar part (although yeah definitely should’ve been a ltm) but that (and some of the very stupid changes made by Epic ofc) was probably my only problem with the season. Like you could deadass do every mission from the start and end to the season and still not be, or barely at level 100. I think someone did the math and if you did all the weeklys and storyline quests you would only be at level 70.
I wish they kept floor is lava in for the whole season, because that was the most fun I had this season

I agrée with you about the Avatar update. It was really poorly implemented and totally ruined the vibes and gameplay of the season. It’s a shame too, because I think it had a lot of potential if done more intentionally. Air bending was a blast, but in hindsight I think I would have preferred a bunch of Greek themed map changes, new poi’s, and some better storytelling with the NPCs.
I was just hoping to see Atlantis replace the glacier on the map this season, or have Kratos as a hirable NPC, but that’s alright. I still enjoyed this season overall, and looking forward to the next one.

I would give the season a 9 out of 10 it was actually a good 👍 season but the lack of storyline content in BR but all of sudden stupid changes that epic games made removing the Zeus and Olympus mythics I feel like they rushed this season and rocket racing and Fortnite festival and Lego the reason it falls of because of that and the Fortnite item shops have been awful let’s hope epic games steps this up in next season

@@w5bs The Airbender and Waterbender mythics were too op. To make it worse they left the Waterbending in the game even after the collab. The Waterbending mythic has no cool down and makes the game feel unbalanced. There's nothing to counter it

Ngl this season was a very mid one because I feel like there was a lot of missed opportunity throughout the season but the beginning was for sure the best part and as much as I like collabs, avatar just felt so forced and with the lack of other updates, it kinda made me switch to creative and other gamemodes like festival. But honestly I could care less about the skin rarity’s being removed
When C5 S2 started i literrally didn't care and played like an hour or two in a week...but then i saw the Trailer Avatar poped Up and i already knew Avatar the last Airbender x Fortnite and i was hyped and literrally was grinding the Battlepass just to get all the Avatar Korra Items to only a f*cking Waterbender on the Map... When the Avatar Event started i was HOOKED! I played EVERY DAY at least 5 hours or more and ngl i had so much fun palying Battle Royal/Zero Build. In every Match my goal was:"I must learn all four Elements to become the Avatar!" and yeah...then came StarWars where i played like three days just to get all the free Items. No i only Play LEGO Fortnite.

I really hope epic games learns from this mistake and actually stepping up next season because chapter 5. Season two was rubbish next season. I want to see more content storyline map changes and Ltms I also would like to rarities back because that is the main core of Fortnite without the rarities. The skins just look bland. also I’m hoping next season the secret skin is not a collaboration because I hate that this season we had Korra from avatar when the whole theme of the season was Greek mythology

Again, my conspiracy theory is that the only reason they made the season greek themed was to get the rights to the Percy Jackson series and permission to bring back God of War, so smugly confident they'd succeed that they updated Kratos and teased a skin named Perseus, but it didn't work out so they made the actual Perseus skin instead. That's also why they were so willing to throw away the theme of the season.
Or maybe you could consider that having a season with 7 mythical would be chaos? What would it be like if you had to deal with the chains of hades, the bending styles, the wings, and the lightning all at once, huh? Not so bad of a decision now.

You say that game was dry when there also updates to those modes too and with the last 2 collabs even having stuff added to those modes too which made them interesting too. The season was good. The themes and POI's were good. The season launch was a bad joke. The secret skin was ok but having missions tied to Waterbending. OP Waterbending and Airbending kind of made the collab with Avatar annoying. Star Wars was a very weak collab this time that was way too focused on Lego. The season was fun but I am ready for a new season.
Also epic games its trying to make fortnite be Metaverse stuff which will ruin fortnite forever

Fortnite players are entitled. Coming into this game, you’re met with a community that consume content like a black hole, they always want more content, not at all thinking of the developers working their asses off to make it for them. It’s like they can’t be satisfied with something for 2 seconds, every week they need new updates that completely revolutionise the game otherwise the season is “TrASh” and epic is being lazy.
