This is the third vid of yours I have watched. I subbed on the second. Why? When your vids start you get right to it, no yapping for half the vid about who knows what and how is this related to the subject and you keep the pace and the info going until the end. I love that. Thanks for sharing.

I always get caught up in "Do I store according to veggie type, or expiration?" From there I spiral to, " I need to do both." But then it ends up a hot mess because, as much as I love details, I am not often interested in the follow through lol. I currently have everything in zip lock bags in a box, but could definitely use something like what you showed 😎
Too funny, Sue. And totally relatable. I want to store by veggie type and by time to plant, but my follow-through leaves a lot to be desired!
Since expiration is not really known since old seeds can store for years and do germinate, it's not fun looking for a tomato seed with an expiration of 2029 from all the other various seeds. Simply organize them by veggie and rubber band them together by expiration date if you must. Stick to this simple plan and don't overthink it.

I paid more for my case in Europe than I would've in the States, but it was well-worth it and saves room in my suitcase when I visit the family next to bring back other gardening goodies that I can't get here in France! I got one on Black Friday from Micheal’s for $12.59. It’s clear with mint colored cases. They are like $40 regular price at Michael’s!
I organize my seeds by when they get planted and then by seedling height and germination temperature (roughly). I use 12 cell mini greenhouses to start most of my seeds so I can start similar seedlings together rather than have nemophila flopping around (and getting beat up by the dome) while waiting for bacopa to get big enough to not need to the dome anymore like I used to deal with when I would start seeds in plug trays. So, each case kind of corresponds to one or two houses or to a plug tray (I still use plug trays to start my brassicas and lettuces). I’ve got a shade box, a perennial box, a February box, one for early veggies, a couple of March boxes, a sunflower box, a few “easy” boxes, a box for vines and floppy seedlings, a brassica box, and one for direct seed.
I’m always tweeking who goes where and get started when while trying to deal with limited space, but the photo box helps a lot with keeping track of that because I’m much more likely to shuffle them now when I get back in the box as opposed to my old system of throwing seeds back into the drawer after sowing them and forgetting most of what I learned by the time I plant again next year.
Those are fantastic tips, and lucky you finding a deal like that! I’m glad you like the cases too. They’ve changed my life when it comes to my seeds being organized. I sort them by planting times too, although I’m not as disciplined as you to classify them by height, etc.

@@tmontero8492 Your comment got stuck in CZcams land until now, but I finally figured out the problem. Amazon is out of stock. I found the same organizer on Walmart.com if you search Novelinks Photo Storage Box 4" x 6" Photo Cases. I'll check the envelopes but am guessing it's the same issue. Usually if your country is out, Amazon will use that link to send you to a nearby country that will ship to your location. In France I sometimes get sent to the UK site when I follow an amazon link.
