GOURMET ESCAPES-LUGANO, SWITZERLAND

This amazing location serves as a backdrop to cooking with Chef Dario Ranza, one of the best chefs in Switzerland. The canton of Lugano is Switzerland's Italian speaking area, so Massimo is in his element as he meets up with fellow chef Dario ant an exclusive and luxurious hotel. The views from the pool area are simply stunning. Chef Massimo and Chef Dario cook an impromptu polenta with black corn (which Massimo has never seen before) and a desert that keeps them wanting more right on the hotel grounds. Massimo visits a winery and a rice farm high-up in the Alp mountains of Switzerland; and both chefs cook a traditional lunch for themselves and some friends high on the country hills inside the unique kitchen of a cheese-making farm. Guess where they get the cheese for their lunch? Now that’s an intimate lunch and this is one funny episode.!
