Me and my son have vmx. Iv got it in 177 and my son has the 22.both have hawk scopes brilliant accuracy the 177 bit more accurate. I know what you mean about the trigger though but we have got used to them now.
Can't beat a pellet testing vid , that's for sure , a nice Titan spring in that rifle will do the trick , but beware , make sure it's under the legal limit when fitted ..

Looks like the HW 97 is the clear winner today. Love the quality and precision the Germans bring to springers (my favorite too)
