      We get loads of wild life at the range Shane. We are in the Erewash River Valley.

    Just bought my Browning X Blade 2, gas piston 5.5 and I am very happy. Shooting mostly without a scope on 25 meters and manage to make some decent groups 5x5 sm from stand up position. A bit of disappointment with this model is the plastic mechanic aiming set. I manage to broke mine and needed to self-prepare.
    Pellet used: H&N Slug pellet 28 gr, they have kind of cool shape just like a bullet shape and are pretty heavy, 1.62 grams each.

    Put a longer screw in that Gamo trigger. If I remember correctly I used a 10mm long screw and was able to lighten the pull to 1lb. This is in a Gamo Magnum with CAT trigger.

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  Před 4 lety +1

      I will give it a go if I can find a small enough screw. There are some places that sell custom triggers. The one that i have is useless as far as adjustment and is already in as far as it will go. A trigger is the most important thing in a rifle after the barrel. I can't understand why they don't make good triggers out of the box.

      @@airgunsniper-elite7385 agreed. I will measure one of the ones I have at home later. I believe it was 3mmx10mm. Gave me more than enough to make it hair trigger then slowly backed out till around a pound.

    Was browsing around town the other day and went into a cash converter store and found a 4.5 sniper falcon so bought it for cheap..on closer inspection I found it to be still brand new..put a scope on and took three shots at a target and grouping was awesome..set the scope and tried 2nd time and verry close to target so set one more time and dang that springer is super acurate I must say..I set a lollipop stick up at 20 mtrs and cut it in half first shot..if a fly sits there ill hit him lol..and grouping is unbelievable with most shots right on each other.. and its a 1100 fps and shoots pretty hard..but I can't find any vids on this rifle lol.. I have 7 break neck air rifles and my first one is called just sniper..also can't find data on that one but like the falcon its also verry acurate but just 1200 fps.. both with light triggers too..weird but im not complaining deffo..just wish I could find some data on them 👍

      I love the Falcon brand. After Air Arms purchased them they never made another one since, but they still sell the parts if you ever need any. One of the most iconic British air rifles out there, with a massive following.

    Interesting to see how springers com pair to Pcp, two different leagues, I take it you can't put the FX chronograph streigh on to the barrel of a springer and that's why you had it on a tripod, ? 👍👍.

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  Před 4 lety +1

      You can attach it to the barrel, but I wasn't sure if it was affecting the barrel harmonics, which can give bad accuracy results. I took it off to see if it shot any better than the previous video, where it was attached to the barrel.

    • @davldcooksey4137
      @davldcooksey4137 Před 4 lety +1

      Airgun Sniper-Elite OK I see what you mean, If you had the choice Mark of a weihrauch hw 100s, or a Daystate wolverine, and a Air arms s510 witch would you choose ?, NO pressure , just I may have the choice of one of them,👍👍

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  Před 4 lety +1

      @@davldcooksey4137 Jesus, you really ask some hard questions. I'd be pleased with any of these, as they are all top of the line mechanical rifles.
      OK. All of these come in some really nice varients. The Air Arms with regulators or not and a variety of stock options. The Wolverine now regulated and a choice of cylinder or bottle, then the HW100 in its hunter or sporter stock and a tried and tested rifle over the years. If it were for shot count or FAC I would go with the Daystate Wolverine High Light bottle in forester green laminate stock. Otherwise it would be the Air Arms S510 Ultimate sporter in Walnut. Like all Air Arms, they are bomb proof and among the most accurate rifles in the World.
