Use your gelli plate to create custom packing tape transfer strips that you can add to your art journal pages and other mixed media projects. artandwhimsy.net/
Wow! I LOVE this idea! The colors are so vibrant and gorgeous. I also love all the great tips you give for using these strips once they're made. I've subscribed to your channel :) Thanks for sharing!
Oh WOW! I have seen this done by others, but I really love how you did it. Your colors are fabulous and just makes me happy. Never thought to stamp with a stamp and paint. WOW again. Thanks for sharing your talent. Can't wait to give this a try. :0)
mommaoxox Adding the fine glitter covers up the areas without paint, that are still sticky. The areas that have paint on them I haven't found them to be tacky enough to cause an issue. I've never personally tried monoprinting on Ranger craft sheet, but I say go for it, experiment! There are also other options that I do know to work, like glass, plexiglass, silicone mats for crafting or baking and even flat baking sheets. Happy arting!
Thank you! They're actually not, at least not enough to cause them to stick together. I store them in a clear page protector, inside of a 3-ring binder. :)
This has to be the BEST hack I’ve ever seen for mixed media project’s!!!

Love the way they turned out. TY for the video. Do you have ideas for us about how to use them after?

Liked this and subscribed. Thanks
Thank you!
Art & Whimsy so welcome
Love it
Thank you!
Great idea but will the tape/art yellow over time?
Similar to the Gelli Transfer Film video by Gelli Arts. A bit slow in comparison, but I love how beautiful your tape turned out.
thank you
Would you get a different print if you just used the printed paper or does it have to be tape
Love it. What do you use these for afterwards? Thank you.
Andrea Maiorana Thank you! I use these in my art journal and in mixed media pieces.
I have never heard of this technique. It is very interesting! What kind of paint do you use? Thank you for sharing!
Gaila Gilliland just regular acrylic paint. I think the brand is Amsterdam.
What do you do with them?
what happens to the sticky side of tape. is it still sticky with the paint on it? just curious, can I use me Ranger craft matt as a gelly plate??

How do you get them to stick to the paper? Is the tape still sticky with the paint on?
when I've made them they've still been sticky enough to stick to the paper.
what is making them stick to foil, book page etc?
Lois Snowden I find that the strips of tape have enough "stick" left to them to adhere to book paper or foil.
And how do you store your strips of packing tape transfers??
ibkristykat I store them in clear page protectors in a 3 ring binder.
Nice! These seem to be tacky on the back; how do you store them without them all getting stuck together?
Thank you! They're actually not, at least not enough to cause them to stick together. I store them in a clear page protector, inside of a 3-ring binder. :)
+Art & Whimsy excellent- that's good to know. I think they are next on my project list!
Why do you need some negative spaces?? Curious type. I like to know the why's of what I'm doing. LoL
