This year's Freedom 500 was kind of a S$%^ show, but we sure had a heck of a time! Hoping the next race can be far cleaner, but dang it was still awesome!
Finally got this up for you boys! Although the carnage was fantastic, i'm hoping for some cleaner faster racing this fall at the 2.4 Hours of LeMullets!
May not be a lemullets or anything else, unless people of influence inform the populous about RPM Act & What EPA has been doing to businesses.

Using a white Bronco as a pace truck would be fun, but you'd have to find an NFL lineman to drive it. Then again, if Cleetus can persuade Larry McReynolds to narrate the Freedom 500, that shouldn't be difficult. Does the Bronco also need a potentially suicidal running back in the back seat?

If Spence's job is to pump up the crowd he shouldn't be talking over the broadcasters on the TV Feed. There should be someone switching him over the local PA and over the air, he shouldn't be able to just walk on top of them whenever.

When the race start his mic should be off ..let the racing comentary do there job ..
I think he just needs an audio system that lowers the volume when he gets excited. His volume level is all over the place

I love Spence as a person but the amount of times I thought to myself God darn it spend stop yelling and the amount of times I had to adjust my volume with him screaming in the mind was just too much
Maybe one day cleeter will realize he’s the only guy that likes spencer 😂 the guy pays to have a real announcer and Larry maybe got 3 minutes of talking in between Spencer’s drunken screaming smh. Just sucks as a fan of cleetus to see such an annoying idiot representing his brand in such a terrible way. Spencer should thank his lucky stars for the kinds of fans cleetus has for not canceling this man into the oblivion for all the stupid shit he says.
I like Spence. I think he does an alright job, .....but you could certainly tell something changed about midway through the broadcast. I assume it was the "sauce" and the hot dogs. It did get annoying.

When it comes to motorsports broadcasting, and producing a show for the fans at the venue, it is really hard to get a good balance. Work out a plan where you use both your announcers and the commentary team separately at different times. You don't need announcers when the racing is going, and you don't need commentary pre or post-race.

If the audio wasnt so choppy. For the next PPV, try having 2 mics in the booth for each announcer. One for the live PPV, and another recording it.
Always good to have a second recorder/server/service for live events. In this instance it was probably the gain set too high on the mixer used for the booth mics. Very common to have a live event with 1 location that requires extra tuning. Long story short, RaceTrack!Loud loud loud! Turn the mics way up and let em eat......But the announcer booth is meant to be quiet, the quietest place at the track. The mics dont have to be up that high in that environment so they "clip" when the announcers get louder
Larry and Jared both had headsets with boom microphones. The "choppiness" might have been the recording equipment. Or editing out a good deal of Spicy Spence's loud, inane braying.
They need a few aphex compellors in the mix.

Wow! It's crazy how fast your channel grew. Watch what you sign away while you're moving up in the world. Don't trust anyone and never forget where you came from so if something happens and let's say you are no longer able to make the money you need to do this stuff anymore, you want have to far to fall. I had a similar past. Not as big as you and not as fast but I lost touch in who I was and it took me down hard when it ended. I pray for only the best for you guys and hope you achieve what you want. Cleetus, I've been watching your development/progress for the last couple of years. I love your progress in the actual development of your vehicles, technology in your builds, but more especially, the FUN that you promote in your events that builds the fan base! I was involved in Drag Boat racing while I was in Law School in Austin, Tx back in the late '60's and segued into co-announcing the races with a very good friend of mine from Austin. We had a GREAT TIME, and got to where we were we were being hired to announce other races throughout the US for the next 17-20 years because of our announcing techniques that greatly entertained the crowds, some of which were a little bit provocative and spicey! It made fun and the crowd loved it. You are doing excellent promotion, fun product, great participation from competitors. It is a fun get-away for them to come PLAY and be around others of the same mind-set. I need to come see y'all next time you come to Houston, or Texas since the Houston dragstrip is shutting down next spring. You have a great bunch of guys working with you! Keep it going!

Finally watched this race. Was amazing for like a first time deal. I had no idea what was going on, with racers coming back in, and the lapped cars blocking guys like Probst. Thought the announcers were great. Can’t wait for the next one HYB!!! Ps get guys like Stradman and Demo… and even vehicle virgins

I gotta say of all the car dudes out there, Cleetus is a good dude! Could reference a bunch of examples but the one I'll mention here is the price of the spectator tickets. $40 and $15 for kids. With all of the CZcams stars at this event, he could have gone for the throat/gold by charging $100 or more but nope, good guy Cleetus charging a fair price for fair racing. Great work!

You think all unknown condition auction vics are an even field when you have drivers cutting thru the grass for shortcuts, doing pace lap burnouts, nos bottle leaks, bumping into eachother for fun, etc etc etc? I'd rather see more shenanigans with various cars and maybe a wild card where one random person gets a 300 shot of NOS instead of a long lasting baby shot

Oof, I really hope they have Spence put the mic down next time. That made this very tough to watch... Larry Mac and Jarod did plenty well. Audio issues are easy enough to resolve in the future, but man having someone seemingly intoxicated screaming at me throughout this while making obscene comments about Hailie Deegan is not exactly fun to watch.
Spencer needs to go. His comments about Deegan was BS. He ruined this for alot of us long time fans.
