Lindor has such an awesome swing. That homer was a missile. He reminds me of Jose Reyes with a ton more power.
and less triples lol
@@mysterygamermgclues8864 Definitely! 131 for Reyes versus 25 for Lindor. What a huge difference. Good call.
Reyes was not a very good player. Particularly weak in the clutch.
@@jimwerther I watched him a ton with the Mets. He was a good player. 4× All-Star (2006, 2007, 2010, 2011),
Silver Slugger Award (2006),
NL batting champion (2011),
3× NL stolen base leader (2005-2007). Pretty good if you ask me.

His one year when he won a batting title was his walk year, and he pulled himself out on the last day to get it. It was also 60 points higher than he otherwise hit with the Mets. He played in an era in which people didn't steal bases; averaging 40 steals a year for his career is hardly game changing, and certainly doesn't overcome a lifetime OBP of .334, which is hardly earth shattering for a guy hitting at the top of the order with little power. (And one of those three years he led the league in steals, with 78, the most he ever had, he also led the league in _caught_ stealing that same year.) And outside of his rookie year, when he was brought up in June, he was really lousy in big spots.
I loved Reyes when he was called up. Overall, though, he was a disappointment as a player.
Start spamming LGM everyone
He is the goattt
The greatest WHAT of all time? Absolutely nothing.
A Messi without a World Cup was "Empty" ,,, Messi after wins the World Cup is another one "Mentally" ,,, same with Francisco Lindor, He "Needs " to Win a WS ASAP',,,❤❤❤❤❤❤

Awesome good win guys! Foh with this crap!!! Ain’t no highlight unless it’s a winning highlight
Mets lost by the Braves.
Now if they had guys who hit for average or draw walks....
Yeah. That's the weakness of this lineup, I'd say. Not enough OBP and clutch hitters.
They should have won this one. Left too many runs on base early on.
You can write the same comment after most games
@@jimwerther Offensively dead team. They need to give Jobu some rum or some shit.

Off brand tipsy bartender
Still lost
Same old Mets same old results.... Martinez has been a ZERO for The Mets so far...
Does it when it doesn’t matter.
Clueless
@@frozenharold In this instance, he's right. This isn't a clutch HR like Nimmo hit last game against the Cards. It's a solo shot in a 4-0 game. Gets us on the board and closer, but still not that clutch.
@@WolvesBaseballNine No, it was. This wasn't cutting the lead from 14-3 to 14-4 with 2 out in the 9th. This was cutting a 4 run lead to 3 runs 7th. That is clutch. Plenty of time to score at least 3. Also important in getting that first run on the board
@@frozenharold Agreed. It's a HR that matters. Just not that clutch is all I'm saying. It puts us on the board and gets us back within 3, that's true, I'm not taking that away. It's just not the same as like a game tying single or something.
Chairman She routine. Bats Bugs n Rats a delicacy? Are we having Chinese food tonite? Cap on a hot tin root! Watch the game, let the cat in, before you lock up!
Sheesh, you'd think you won the World Series or something! Mental training of sneak response fr homies too think they can now boast, cause they lost again!
Trade him, its a bad signing, gotta move on
