this is why i wear all my shoes i have shoes for every occasion i got NB, Aasics and yeezys for the gym or when i'm walking around pr if i want to be confortable and not wear slides plus these go with alot of joggers and relaxed clothes and i also usually have shoes from 2/3 years ago or older that i wear and then the newest releases i get this year or the year before ill hold for a little bit and pop them out when the other ones are beat that way i can rock all shoes and be fresh at the same time also they last about 2 years from wewring them casually and not cleaning them up after that i just beat them to the ground and pop out a new roster of shoes i got like 40 pairs of Js i rock 5/6 and i might have one or 2 that ill pop out right away like the bred 4 reimagined just cuz they lookt too nice

Let me say this tho...I'm from Canada (just west of Toronto) where we DON'T have a SNKRS app, have very few honest boutiques and share shoe stock with the EU. If you're picking up what I'm putting down, every shoe used to seem limited here! Shoes drop at 6am on Nike here and I've never hit a collab or anything hype. When I was younger I used to drive hours filling out raffles and never hit anything. I'm liking that I can grab a shoe now if I want because I never hit on breds, black toes, or Cement 4s.

I already have them and it will not take my nostalgia away on how I got them or what they mean to me
A classic that deserves to be talked about, and has never been retro'd is the Air Force V 's! One of my favorite pairs from the late 80's, early 90's. I had the low's in white/black/orange crush and have been wishing for a retro all my adult life!

I feel you, Mike. I don't have nearly as many as you, but I'ma just have to start wearing my kicks too. Problem I run into is I have super comfy NBs & Nike runners that I always tend to grab when running errands. I'll have to be intentional about rocking my Nikes & Jordans, bump the fit or where I'm going.

One thing to consider is that everyone purchasing retro’s haven’t been doing it for decades plus and obtaining popular wearable pairs of some OG models on resell platforms isn’t always practical. It makes sense that Jordan brand would retro the most popular color ways.

Necks dont break for retros anymore - back in the late 2000s to the early 2010s, they were so rare to see, we were restoring BEAT jordans-sole swapping, repainting, sole lightening with some hair products….IMAGINE doing that nowadays.
