I definitely love both the movies, as you say we can't really compare the two stories. But The Book of Life was my first love between the two so it will always have a special place in my heart. Also, the character design for this movie is absolutely amazing. And I fell in love with La Catrina and her relationship with Xibalba. ❤️

I used to support bullfighting due to my ignorance on the topic, but I did research on it and I can confidently say that bullfighting needs to be forgotten. Bullfighters bring unnecessary cruelty to an abused animal just to entertain people and to bask in false glory they deluded themselves into having. Bulls deserve better and bullfighters need a different career.
I know! Also, while editing I came across with the info that a bull that kills a bullfighter is not only sacrificed but also all of its bloodline... you have no idea how much I cried out of rage and frustration and impotence!
@@TequilaPrincessMx that's sickening. The babies don't deserve that! At this rate, bulls will start to become endangered and eventually become extinct.
I think both movies are growing on me. Every time I watch someone react to both Book of Life or Coco they climb up the ranks. I just love the Mexican culture this is built around, it's so colorful and amazing.

For Christmas, I got a German, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese book.

Joaquin in my opinion DID mean his comment on "may the best man win Maria" because in his mind- that can only be him. At least he seemed to mature a bit at the end and didn't stay completely self-absorbed
