- 120 miles with 8000+ feet of climbing, the Deckers Loop is a staple in the Colorado Springs road biking scene. Despite BAB Amy having lived here her whole life, she had never ridden this loop. Rachel and Natalia need to make sure they can whip out a century before The White Rim in a day ride the next week.
Watch to see if we made it! (Spoiler alert - we did but not without some challenges).
When to Ride: Highly recommend this route during the week to avoid traffic. There is little to no shoulder for the majority of this ride. We went Friday morning around 9 AM.
Rest Stops: Plenty of places to stop. We stopped in Woodland Park (20 miles), Deckers (45 miles), Sedalia (67 miles), and Monument (85 miles) to refuel.
GPX of the route: / strava
**When you get to Deckers on way to Sedalia, you can take two different routes.** One is stepper but shorter, and the other is longer but not as steep (we planned for the first one, but accidentally did the second one). BOTH ARE DIRT.
No cell coverage from Woodland Park to Sedalia really.

Nice ride! Great job!
Thanks so much!
Ok when I think of a loop...I’m thinking 10-30 miles. But when I saw the ending saying 120... I had to rewind to that part to double check. 120 miles! I’m so impressed by your fitness. Blows my freaking mind! And you still filmed it! 🙌🏼
Fitness...more like fortitude 😂 Stay tuned for WRIAD video coming soon. The main reason we did this ride!
@@BABsOutside looking forward to it. I saw it on strava. So EPIC!
Y’all r crazy for biking on 24! Baller ride tho
Yeah - that part sucks! Luckily it's a short stretch. They have proposed a bike path but private property owners don't want to work it out with the county.
Good job. thats not an easy ride
Thanks! Definitely felt it!
