I remember the T-54 being a top tier meta tank at tier 9, damn time flies.
Ikr, that used to be THE go-to medium tank before equipment 2.0. The hardening meta killed the low alpha mediums imo.

Good old time where t62a was still great too
Soviet meds generally aren't meta and for the most part they aren't even good. For some reason, people still recommend those lines to beginners though
@@m8zero867 nowaday t-44 still sucks ass, but to be fair, tier 8 techtree mediums in current meta are just meh in general

Standard B is actually quite a good tank.

@@claudioimprota6017 Not as good as it supposedly used to be but still OK. Good shell velocity, good penetration on standard rounds.

I remember when tier 9 was top tier. My pre nerf T-59 was the most broken OP tank in the game. 200 mm hull armor top and bottom plate. 249 mm sloped round turret. It was very hard to kill from the front. A platoon of 3 could wipe a map in 5 minutes. When my buddies and I rolled 3 of them together, we would type in chat, our intentions to bum rush 1 specific side and overwhelm it. 90% of the time 5 to 8 more guys would come with us. Killing 6 to 8 tanks I'm 3 minutes but maybe only losing 2 was always a source of immense enjoyment 😉.

i stand by that. just started playing bc 12t again first i was bad but now i love it.
He is right for the most tanks. I hated T-44 (rage sold 2 times) but ended up loving it after 50ish battles. Can't say the same for Pershing despite how much i tried to love it.
Honnestly, I love to play with tank that people don't usually see. Standar B and Obj 430 II were my best T IX medium in WOT :). K91 is still my favourite TX medium

Hate to tell you this mate, but his tank IS bouncing so in this case I think his confidence is well founded!
When you go kill type 68(siegfried line) you can go from other side and you will dont take dmg from char futur and you will take 1 shot for that type ;)
I am a month behind, but here we are. Got done playing a session of tanks, up this video comes on my recommended.
I love my standard B (currently marking this one) and my t-54. Standard B just has the burst potential without the autoloader. Mobility is great, so i dont miss the armor.
Ahh, i remember the days of the UFO or HEAT-54. But now? It's not like its bad, just outclassed

Might be my playstyle but I would considder Standard B and B-C 25t AP to be one of the best tier 9 meds :P
I always have such a blast in my standard b. Much more so than in the prog. 65. because of the less difficult mm.

Which cannon should I choose for the T-54: DE-54 or D-10T2S❔❔
It has the same penetration with gold, but they have different reload, dispersion and aiming. 🤔

After asking the question I realized that you had answered it at the end of the battle with the T54, where you say your opinion and why you chose the cannon with more DPM.

I think in the end I'm going to choose the one with the best aim, because in the 2 battles you missed a lot of shots.
What's the point of having more DPM and missing so many shots? 😅
I only ever played standard B after the nerf but I love that tank, if you're not used to the pre nerf version I think it's actually quite competitive.
The gun is disgustingly bad
@@claudioimprota6017 I played it close range and used bond vents and stab and bounty aiming when I marked it. Now you could replace aiming with improved firing system. Gun was perfectly usable for me.
Standard b is 1 of the best tier9 med

Actually i like Standard B and i am enjoying playing this tank. 25t AP and T-54 used to be meta tanks,, man this was long ago...
25t AP was never meta. When it replaced the lorraine for a few years it was good but never was T54 or E50 level

How is the t54 underperforming more than the obj 430.
Because 430 comes with top gun and turret. No modules to research
@@iyouxintwitch I see. I was actually getting super sad I chose the wrong tank line to go down because the 430 was just so inaccurate but the 430u actually turns out to be a pretty enjoyable tabk
The K-91 line is a hell...and I am a free player... the 430 II is one of the worst tanks on the game...no joke...more when you play with 200+ ping ._.
The enemy team that comes at you is incredibly bad. My matches start with a 0-5 defeat in the first minute and I play with at least 2 bots.
I'm doing much better with the tier 10 but holy smokes that batchat ap was horrible.
I’m still annoyed that I spent the time and xp grinding the T54 to unlock the T62A, using some blueprints to speed up the process, but didn’t buy it since I didn’t have the credits. Then I take a break from WoT, the T62A was removed from the tech tree while I was taking said break, and I get no compensation in terms of xp or blueprints, so I needed to grind for the Obj. 140 from scratch.
I mean you can still buy the t62a… why does it have to be in the tech tree
The point is he spent all this time going for the t62 only for it to be researchable now for 0 xp. Necessitating grinding for the same xp all over again for the 140.

just a garbage game. Every day the wot professional streamers drive a new pig through the village. You should get all the tanks if possible, because that's money for wargaming. And they hit almost every shot with penetration. You can only shake your head and ask, how is this possible? just a rip off made in Belarus.
