Thank you for posting such an important video for anyone who has or cares for someone who is Dyspraxic. I just sent your vid to my GF to help her relate to how I go about things (and I think she might be a part of the club, as well. lol) As a youngster, there was no diagnosis, and my personality developed of the type some of us do by being very gregarious and domineering, making it easy for people to accept my issues as just being a "typical guy."
I wasn't aware until recently that my experience had a name and diagnosis called Dyspraxia and that I wasn't alone. It was unimaginable that others had these same feelings and experiences as me. I'd prefer not to have it, but knowing what Dyspraxia is has ended the isolation it caused, and opened the door for treatment that has changed my life in profound ways. Reduced anxiety, better relationships, and an ability to learn while accomplishing necessary tasks are excellent examples.
I trust Paige is doing well, and please know how special you are as parents because few are willing to lovingly adjust their expectations like you both have done for your daughter. ❤

I've only now realized that as well as having ADHD Combined, I could also have both Dyspraxia & Autism.

I've got dyspraxia and ASD. I didn't walk until I was 3.5 years old. I was successful in business and retired at 59. Every day I know I'm going to spill something, knock something over, break something and/or get hurt. I just have to laugh at it and go on.

How would you address it Igor?

Hyperactivity isn't really a symptom of Dyspraxia.

A growing body of evidence suggests that children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have an extremely high rate of co-occurring DCD. Some studies report that as high as 50% of children diagnosed with ADHD also had a Developmental Coordination Disorder.
