As a disabled veteran who has had a spinal cord injury at 29, I am now 62, I would gladly give you my great parking spot if I can have my ability to walk and move without restrictions or equipment. Count your blessings and don't forget that someday it could be you that NEEDS THE SPACE!!! Thanks for the videos!❤
A for effort but E for lying
I was riding with a guy who parked in a handicapped spot. He didn't need it so I asked why he was using it. He said his grandmother left it to him in her will.

When I recived my Handicap parking placard from the state, there was also a Handicap parking ID card with it, that had my information and placard # and expiration date on it that you put in your wallet to prove that you are in fact Handicaped and the placard is mine. I can use it in any car that I am in,weather I am driving or a passenger in.But if im having a good day and can breathe allrite,I will look for a different parking spot to park in as long as its close to the door, cuz I know there are people out there who are alot worse off then me.But if there's not a spot real close, then I will use a Handicap parking spot.
Here where I live if I see someone parking illegally I take pics of there cars and report them to my local police dept

should be a minimum 1000 dollar fine and the car booted till the fine paid

People are weasels. I moved to Boston for a customer service job many years ago and I was shocked at the level of entitlement. I’ve lived in several major cities but Boston is off the charts for weasels and police corruption by the way.

It's a $250 fine in California & it says it right there on the sign. Despicable, using a deceased family member's placard to park a little closer to a store. I'm wondering if they found anyone with the excuse. "I'm old", but they don't have a placard & think because they're old they can park there too.

In my state they do. My girlfriend had a spinal cord injury,she has trouble walking long distances even with a walker, it's disappointing to see some people of questionable disability use the handicap parking just to keep from walking a little farther away. My knees and hips are in bad shape and it actually hurts to walk long distances, but I do it because there's people worse off than myself,as long as I can still walk I'll be fine.

Just shows enforcement is key as well as adequate deterrence which there clearly is not. Take points of their licence. Many are prepared to wear an occasional fine. Points are what really hurts.

Im 72. I don't get around well. But I don't EVER park in handicap parking. And I've watched the REAL handicapped and I REALLY understand their needs. You're a REAL A/ Hole if you park handicapped if you're not handicap
Bingo! I’m 70 and still mobile but I don’t want a placard unless I have to crawl. My late best friend was a paraplegic and had a hard time finding parking in his wheelchair lift van
