It's better to keep the services on "manual" instead of disabled, therefore if they are needed for a application (even if not used) they will start and stop dynamically

How do you do the first thing now? There's no "windows setup" app like you have here when you factory reset the computer or otherwise to choose "english (world)" it gives you all the extra apps by default now

Yeah mate it should perform better I just don’t recommend it cause I’ve heard people blue screening from it. Mainly older machines / older laptops tho.

Interesting, but none of that will decrease latency or increase your frame rates. It used to make a difference. Windows XP and Windows 7 but since Windows 10 or 11 no.

I used AtlasOS (a more optimized version of Windows) and made some difference so I would recommend that. But if you want updates, don't use it because AtlasOS disables automatic updates.
Idk why everyone is saying this doesn't work, I have a very very VERY low end laptop and before I did this when I would play "the forest" I would get around 20 fps on average with the lowest settings but now I can get a good 30 to 40 with higher quality. Appreciate the good work man

@@TheMysteryDunno, if your monitor is trying to display more frames than your core processing unit or gpu is capable of that will also result in screen tearing.
Get a VRR monitor, limit FPS 3 below your max refresh rate and turn on Vsync.
I’m sure some of these things can help.
Well after this video i had to use F8 and use restore point... My pc crashed and i cannot open a single app on my desktop. But thanks for the early advice for creating restore point. I guess the reason is disabling services

Why do you disable ultra low latency mode in the Nvidia control panel?
It reduces fps and reduces render latency or delay.. So it basically consumes a lot of resources but useful for online fps games like valorant or csgo
why i don t have the option High performance at power options

these are the things I would do: cap your frame rate to just below what you are getting max. ie if at full speed you're getting 160fps, cap it to 140 or 150. check your windows updates are all done so they are not in background whilst you playing. Play in fullscreen mode, not borderless windowed with fullscreen optimisations disabled. Make sure you have a fair bit of free space on your SSD (I'd say 20% should be fine but that's personal) if on nvidia turn down pre-rendered frames to one or two and change shader quality to performance. Also make sure you have XMP enabled in BIOS (ie the RAM is not running a potato speed) and make sure RAM is in the correct slots as per motherboard manual and properly seated, I think its usually A2 B2. Install HWINFO and use that to monitor temps to make sure nothing is thermally throttling and if it is use extra fans or increase their speed with "FAN CONTROL" programme (it is actually called that), remove fan filter for your exhaust fans as they stop dust escaping and reduce airflow (keep them on your intakes) Reseat CPU Cooler with fresh thermal grease. Uninstall GPU drivers with DDU and reinstall (if you have Nvidia use NVCleanstall to install with unwanted features stripped out like diagnostics etc. Check your chipset drivers are up-to-date with Origin Snappy Driver. Uninstall Mcafee or Norton. Run SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes just in case you've got something bitcoin mining on your pc something. After that if still problem reinstall windows using Rufus.

Believe me its the cpu i have the same exact one with the stock cpu cooler. Yes Fortnite is causing most of the hitching But u really should look into a new cpu. Ive tried every program and still get hitches @@MattyJustDance

Disabling E-Cores will get rid of stuttering. It works! Games use ONLY P-Cores. BUT, most games can't determine the difference between E or P-CORES, so they try to use both which in turn creates lag/stutter because E-Cores are not meant for gaming. E-Cores are solely for background/multitasking/system. Not gaming!

Bro the game does NOT choose which cores to use... The scheduler of the operating system does that for ALL processes! windows 10 does a good job at that and Windows 11 will do an even better job! Demanding processes will NEVER be scheduled to E-Cores. disabling the E-Cores will LOSE you performance, not gain any!!! Stop spreading false information!
Maybe if you are still using windows 7 or XP, from the time where E-Cores where not even a thing, then maybe the scheduler won't know where to run processes. But if you are still on XP or 7 with modern hardware, you already have bigger issues...
Silly observation.
E cores actually help in gaming as they take care of background tasks. What do you think will take care of these if there is no ecores anymore? Exactly, and that's when the gaming performance is reduced.
Instead of having a single bunch workers that do everything in anarchy, you have ordered ones that share the tasks between each other. Each group has a precise task. However,the thing is , certain devs don't bother to optimize their games with this new architecture of two different kind of cores, which means that you will indeed make these rushed games run better by getting back to them a single bunch of cores.

I need help optimization windows 98
In my Nvidia Control Panel, I dont see any display settings, any ideas? I have been searching all over for days and i have done everything but it still doesnt work. I set my preferred graphics processor to the high performance nvidia one, and the phsyx settings to my nvidia one, and have the latest driver. I am using an Evoo Gaming LAPTOP with integrated graphics (amd radeon) and dedicated graphics (nvidia geforce rtx 2060) when i go to the "Configure Surround, Physx" section in the contorl panel, it shows a green laptop screen that has text saying "Laptop Display" and then a black line connecting it to the AMD Radeon processor, Any way to fix this pls help

I recently switched from win10 to 11 and I can say that there is almost no difference in terms of fps. I have heard that win 11 is better for DirectStorage and HDR. But other than that, I sometimes forget I even switched to win 11, looks pretty much the same as win10.

With all the multicore CPUs we have now, these changes will make very little difference to your FPS or delay.

This tutorial is fake, the only way to get rid of frame drops is to upgrade your PC or laptop
Guys, if you are using windows 10 or 11, this guide will make you have worse performance instead. I highly don't recommend it. Works somewhat for the older systems though.
Very milktoast video. These settings will do NOTHING for FPS or delay, just for all of you reading. It debloats Windows a bit and might save you a few hundred MB of RAM, but that's all the benefit you will get
Yep, almost all cargo cult stuff which may have helped someone sometime, but simply isn't a general issue. Past performance issues tend to be patched up.
Its still not worth to use Windows 11. Microsoft wont fix bugs and perfomance issues. Honestly I really want to switch to Windows 11 because of their UI, but I won't. I gave Windows 11 a chance and installed it. Just going to say that 2 days after i switched back to Windows 10...

depends if you are using a radeon graphics card, if you are on radeon directx12 should be better, if you are on nvidia or older radeon cards, performance should be the best option
