To me, Carnage sounds kinda like a sadistic femboy. I mean, his boss portrait when he gets beat looks like he outright enjoys the pain.

Electro has become one of my favorite Spider-Man villains after Mysterio, there's something about him that's really cool.

The lizard fight with figuring out the antidote while panicking was such a nightmare, especially when u take too long and he just bursts thru
I actually beat him without using the antidotes. Let me just say it takes forever because he loses very little health. I didn't know about the antidotes back then lol.

@@MoFoTRex93 Apparently you can beat the Lizard without the antidotes in Kid Mode.
The camera's harder to fight than any of these bosses.
The camera is the first boss, the controls and input delay are the second.
Still, good times...

The cutscenes grafics and animations where pretty good for the tima this game came out
Especially considering FF7 was considered Godly in the graphics department

It's a shame that we didn't get a Spider-Man 3 game! Bosses could've included Kraven the Hunter, Beetle, Vulture, and Hydro-Man. And the main villain/final boss could've been the Green Goblin! Maybe the climax of the game could've involved him using a new version of the Goblin Serum and turning into a hulking monster?

I still have this game on PS1 when I was 7 years old. Brings me back memories, the lizard villain was hard and scary to deal with. It's too bad the beetle wasn't in this fight.

Fighting the lizard was both terrifying and the hardest for me when I was a kid
The lizard boss was freaky as hell.
I love how Shocker’s face was the only that that really changed when he got hit while the other just turned a different color
Ironic how they say it was Thor who saved the day when he would have been the one who would have accidentally turned Electro into a god of lightning in the first place with his powers.

In the original version Thor was gonna help Spiderman but it got cut along with the rest of the original final boss, since it was supposed to take place on the tein towers and, just before the game released, 9/11 happened
So that is why the newspaper still say thor save the day?
The one minor negative I have of this game is that the enemy icons of the bosses just flash different colors instead of show their faces in pain every time they get hit like the last game.
I thought that was pretty funny back then.
Dude same thought here. Granted Shocker had a semi animated one like the bosses in the 2000 game did, but yea those 3D flashing icons seemed like cut corners to me. The damn Plane gets a proper 2D HUD

The villains on this spiderman game were kind of low tiered compared to the first one. They put all there heavyweights in the first game (venom carnage dock ock mysterio)
Agree. Also the boss fights were kinda repetitive and dull in this game. In the first one you could use your surroundings more to defeat them.
What also sucks is that you couldn't fight The Beetle. He only appeared in two cutscenes, and was never mentioned again afterwards.

These bosses were challenging and made you create an strategy, the first ones you simply had to hit them until they were defeated
Shocker is the hardest boss for my childhood on that day
I remember playing this game and at the Lizard fight I beat him with a fully green bar. He glitched at a wall and hit said wall for the rest of the fight while I punched his back to submission
