I used a similar ramp to carry a DRZ400. It worked fine even on dirt roads. I did put a wooden chock between the mudguard and front tire so the ratchet ties could be tight without compressing the springs much. Harbor Freight sell a light kit with magnets to hold them in place on the ramp.
Wow that orange looks really nice on the ninja
I like how you skipped the awkward bit where you wheeled the bike onto the carrier. I'd like to see how easy this is, especially with a bigger, heavier bike. I'd also like see what this is like going over speed-humps and up steep inclines before I bought one. It looks like it would be great on flat, smooth roads - but where I live, the roads are neither flat nor smooth!
If the roads are that bad and your bike is that big than any hitch mounted carrier is probly a bad idea. It would be hard on your vehicle, not to mention the poor handling while driving it this way. If you have a truck, you’re better off putting your bike in the bed. If not, buy a small trailer.
Huh?!? It was right at 5:47. He's even got chapter markers.
@@Gideon_Judges6my comment was 4 years ago - the video has been updated since then
@@alex_nicholuh... that's not how YT works at all 😂
I’ve seen these before and this one seems to be about the best one out there
Thank you for this finally my bikes gettin out my family’s garage comin home wit me (different states)
I think it’s a good carrier thanks for the video
Is that thing strong enough for bumpy road?
So what is the max weight? Could it hold a M109r which is 797lbs dry?
Hi, do you make a carrier for Yamaha Tricity?
How difficult might it be to load a Thruxton on an old Defender?
How much speed you can go with after loading the motorcycle?
I just bought one of these for my CRF300 Rally. Bike weighs 320lbs and the rack is plenty strong for it. I might be nervous about anything over 450 pounds…with bikes that heavy a trailer is best. Mine does fine on dirt/bumpy roads with careful driving. It’s a very good rack but it would be nice if they made the hitch bolt the standard 5/8.
have you gotten pulled over because of it obstructing the license plate
7:18 strapping down the wheel is not the same as strapping down the body - the strapped down wheel is a lot more stable and preferable.
She was a nice touch. 😎
How you can transport a motorcycle like this if the car's hook can be loaded up to 50-70 kg
I want to how much it bounces while driving. Creating metal flex
How much weight could This thing hold and how much does it go for please comment back
nice set of helping hands. when she's done with loading the bike, she can help me unload ..
Your girl was staring at me. We had a moment. 7:06
Robert Salas 🤣
Dream on lads, she was looking at me in Australia, check out my arse she was saying.
Lol she loked at him first
Omg facts 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant...!
So my side-cart hangs off the outside? Or just keep the back door open?
How will you display your rego plate?
Do you guys have a store for pick up in Vancouver?
Can we mount CBR650F on Honda Accord??
Is it comfortable for Royal Enfield
I like it but is it legal? Barely can see the the rear brake lights/turn signals. 🤔
It is legal as long as not blocking of plate number, turning light indicator or tail lights are not blocked or the rack does exceed the width of the car .
How many times did he get pulled over by the police? You can't see no lights or license plates
It is just about every carrier that hides the plate you moron.
@@michaelhinchey and? It's illegal mate.
@@dadoodz87 Depends on state cause it’s a very grey area.
Of course the cop is going to know you don't always drive with a bike on the back..
I guess it's an option, but honestly it seems too precarious to me. I've a Triumph Thruxton R and 1) It's heavy af to wheel up ramps. - I know this from having loaded it on trucks before. Always a two man job. You also need to be parked on perfectly flat ground like here for loading. Not always possible. 2) I don't have complete confidence that a heavy bike would be totally secure on this. It seems perfect for a scrambler or light 125-250cc bike, but I would be too nervous with this setup personally.
I like her personality
Do dirt bikes work in this
One question. Where do I pickup a helping hand like yours! @6:35
Dope! Hottie at the end was a bonus. 👌
Can a coaster have the carrier? Thanks
This may be a dumb question.. but could you get pulled over for your license plate not being visible?
Will you get pulled over since your plate isn’t visible
I just which one day this company make bicycles carries. This product look very strong
Im gonna buy this for my Honda Goldwing!
How did that go? My dad just got a 2020 Goldwing and I want this for both of us. I have a 2017 R6 so at the very least I hope my bike will work well with this mount.
does it fit on Smart fortwo too, to load a BMW s1000rr?
I think you can put the rack on the BMW then load the Smart on the rack.
I agree with Captndarty. 300 pounds is usually the max for this type of 2" receiver.
can I get this delivered ro Mumbai to fit for a Maruti Zen 2004 and Ritz 2009? and cost?
What about 350 kg ?
is it safe if other drivers behind can not see tail & turn lights?
Same question i had. Traffic fine waiting to happen
I dont like tighting the front wheel suspension like that. You'd better off tighting from the front wheel axle so the suspension of the bike keeps working. Though it may be too low for that kind of system, and the bike may tilt if the wheelchoke isnt big enough. However, tight down on rear wheel is good.
This will work for that www.mototote.com/acebikes-tyrefix-motorcycle-tie-down.html
Looks nice and stable but where is the license plate, stop light and turn signals? Unfortunately, the idea dies in the bud
What is weight safety. 250kg
Junk. That receiver and car is not designed to have 500 pounds on a 2 foot arm.
That’s not a litre bike. Looks like a 300.
Is this even street legal? It covers your plate and your taillights?
I like this
? Is the Jeep a v6
How can you get one for free
Me gusto la morrita
If you used this carrier in my country, you’ll end up getting tickets every 10mins by every cop on our streets lol, you can’t even see the back lights or signals on your car from your bike, hows this legal in States??
I don't trust those either.. That's why the ones I make are made out of the thick metal tubing that the entire reciever system is made from and I have support bars and welds all over .I weld picture and stunt cars for a living so I've built all kinds of crazy things. With mine the bike or whatever your hauling is safe the platform if fully supported and enterchangible with other platforms for what ever I'm hauling. Mine locks the bike in place so it cant fall over as you strap in on. And theres no sketchy ramp to push or ride up. A girl scout can load my gsxr 1000 by herself.
Do you have a video or picture of your setup?
Do you sell them? I'd be interested in purchasing one if what you say is true.
I don’t have this hitch personally it does look nice for a purchase one though. I made one with a machined steel tung hitch just because square tube indeed is strong but holes in it create potential in my mind.
I have a 2012 X5 that I have put my 2014 S1000RR and it did fine went 800 miles just . First time use it seems sketch and there is a reason why new things can be just that... even a trailer is sketchy tire can blow out dismount, etc.
Best to keep in mind these things:
1. Know your vehicles hitch capability. AND you should since you purchased it...
2. Know the weight of your bike. WHICH YOU SHOULD if you bought and ride the it...
3. Get a quick plate removal kit so your plate is visible. Trailer lights are easy to add!
4. If you don’t like it don’t get it...
I don’t see the need for the excess silliness and unnecessary comments about what bike is in the vid. Research and learn, positive reinforcement and move on.
Para ESPAÑA no es legal!
CAN I PUT MY 800 POUND ROAD GLIDE ON IT?
Val Tito no
@@SRD828 didn't think so hehe thanks
woow, this one from mototec looks really robust.
That guy should stand on one end of that carrier to check its strength. Bet you it would flex. I fabricated my own carrier super reinforced. I can stand on one end and the whole car moves.
What car and how heavy the motorcycle? Looking to see how it affects handling
THIS IS IT .
Thanks for the feedback!
Alright Conor McGregor
Nice “ helping hand “ does she come with the carrier?
I think it's a rentable $6,000 option.
How much is the motorcycle stand?
600$
How can this be legal if it blocks rear lights and license plate
who cares
Qualidade
Think this is more suitable for a enduro bike , there is no way in hell, I'm trusting this with my 1000cc super bike !!
Nice video though 👍
You don't have a bike
@@farhanrahim2770 no.... I actually own a real motorcycle trailer, thanks for asking Dick !
Neil Gouws what kind do you recommend?
@@MagnusFXT it's not the product , that I don't trust .. on the contrary , it's the tow hitch.. not all vehicles have the same load carrying capabilities 🤷♂️
I've opted, for the safest option... a dedicated motorcycle trailer.
Fact is... both have their, pro's and con's
Neil Gouws yeah Sorry, i wasn’t clear in my question. I mean, what motorcycle trailer do you recommend? 😃
And the rear lights?
who cares
@@94SexyStang police officer
And wher is number of car
How did you get that kind of motorcycle color i think Kawasaki ninja is green?
The video really starts at 6:35. Anything before that is a distraction :)
Nice, rust on new rack 3:14
Cops problem ( stop light - turn s. ).
Get on the freeway with it i want to see all these tests before I get one . That looks flimsy.
What kind of ninja is that bike?
2 Inconvénient : ont ne vois pas les feux du véhicule ni la plaque d’immatriculation .
If you want to have more views and shares... let the 'helping hand' do the work and be yourself the helping hand :D :D Nicely filmed, good work!
no way this hold over 400lbs.
They used a 300cc bike.... wich wight about 350pounds dry. Missleading ? yeah a bit.
Muchos pasos... muy débil!!! Muy peligroso por falta de iluminación e inestabilidad!!! Un desastre
First u must need pay gór towbar subframe...
Def like the helper but she could gave wkrn something little bit more flattering
I just use 4in hitch nutsack dingle dangles under the spare tire to let everyone know I'm a big boy now
why not add lights, the rear lights are covered by the motorbike, and the driver behind doesn't see the brake lights when we brake, and that endangers us and the people behind us, the rest is perfect
They sell lights separately
because that's Gay, that's why.
I know that face... She is Two Wheels And a ponytail 😂
Funny how you used a 300cc bike, how about trying that with a 1000cc
I DID. NOT BAD AT ALL.
I keep it in 1st gear on the way up, kill switch once horizontal.
No brace near the hitch receiver. No thanks.
Does the helping hand need to have a tight butt accompanied by a tighter leggings as demonstrated in your video.
That is essential to your helper.
It comes with a rack. I mean, with THE rack.
Idk how it is in the States, but in Europe duplicating taillights and brake lights would be mandatory
because europe is full of gay safety nazi's
This won’t work with a lifted truck because of that short ramp otherwise I’d buy it right now.
Lo stop e le frecce sono occultate dalla moto. Niente omologazione.
You momentarily lost me at about 6:36 to 6:38. :)
get a liter bike on there
Фиг знает, для эндуро 100 килограммового может и прокатит.
Better look for a Motolug.
Sport model. The metal "hook" that keeps the ramp in place needed to be mounted "backward" on the opposite side of the hitch tube. The instructions are terrible. It's like they were written in English translated into Chinese and then retranslated back into English. Also the fact that you have to download the instructions and they don't come in the box is kind of crappy because it's nearly a $grand mounting system
And get ready to be pulled over for not showing license plate
I was following this real good until 6:36 I lost my FOCUS 😁😁
Man that shit looks too wimpy for 600 and above!
🍑🍑🍑🍑
Стремное крепление байка.😀
Illegal back driver can’t see flash and back stop lights
Hell naw
What the fuck about tail lights
You are covering your signal, brake, night lights
