See you at the bench!
A scale model is most generally a physical representation of an object that maintains accurate relationships between all important aspects of the model, although absolute values of the original properties need not be preserved. This enables it to demonstrate some behavior or property of the original object without examining the original object itself. The most familiar scale models represent the physical appearance of an object in miniature, but there are many other kinds.
Scale models are used in many fields including engineering, architecture, film making, military command, salesmanship, and hobby model building. While each field may use a scale model for a different purpose, all scale models are based on the same principles and must meet the same general requirements to be functional. The detail requirements vary depending on the needs of the modeler.
To be a true scale model, all relevant aspects must be accurately modeled, such as material properties, so the model's interaction with the outside world is reliably related to the original object's interaction with the real world.
Revell is a manufacturer of plastic scale models. The original American Revell merged with Monogram. In 2007, American Revell was purchased by Hobbico while the European Revell Germany separated from the American company in 2006 until Hobbico purchased it as well - bringing the two back together again under the same company umbrella. In 2017, Quantum Capital Partners took over operations of Revell after Hobbico declared bankruptcy.
Aluminum Model Toys, commonly abbreviated as AMT, was a Troy, Michigan-based company that manufactured various pre-assembled plastic promotional models starting in 1948, when attorney West Gallogly, Sr. started it as a side business. Later, a variety of kits became very popular. Most of the company's vehicle products were American cars and trucks in 1:25 scale. In the 1970s, hot rods, customs, trucks and movie and TV vehicles were also produced.
Because Gallogly had solid connections with Ford Motor Company, he was able to place his first models exclusively in Ford dealerships, starting a long promotional relationship (Cawthon 2002). Gallogly's first model was a 1947-1948 Ford Fordor sedan made of cast aluminum and painted with official Ford paint (Cawthon 2002). After issuing successful Ford sedan models, the company set up shop on Eight Mile Road outside Detroit (Chrysler 2008). - Auta a dopravní prostředky
TUDOR means 2-door. A one-on-one teacher is a TUTOR. Thanks for the vid!! We got a lot to choose from here!

Thanks for the presentation! Totally understand taking care of personal stuff; but glad to see you back. I’ve grown accustomed to the twice a week thing and feel lost without one of your reviews. Did enjoy your road-trip. Thank again for what you do. 😎

wow wow wow- where to start! Thx for the review Chris! So much to choose from! I've been busy as of late building Tamiya armor kits. Might be time for a change for something new! :)
What a great review, thanks!
Very cool. I like the 57 wagon. Hopefully you can make it stock. Wish you would make the Sabre Tooth kit as well as the Bear. The bases used to all interlock. 👍😊

I'd love to see some of those ICM military kits built up, because while I don't build those kinds of kits, it's been a while since I've seen one on this channel and it's always interesting to see how you weather and detail them.
Some great kits coming 👌......the 1963 Mustang was a Lindbergh kit and it a pretty nice kits.........
Great haul , *Chris* ! Lots of largesse from *Round2* !
I wish to propose a suggestion : the transmission of the Chrysler 300 is the original Torqueflite (A - 488) which is *cast* *iron* ; the aluminium version ( A - 904 first, 1960 , with the aluminium A - 727 following ) didn't arrive until the 1962 model year.
Thanks hipiguys, looks like a lot of interesting new kits coming out. The AMT Pursuit Highway Patrol car looks cool. I'd put some LED lights into it.
Very nice video and review of all of the kits. I like watching your videos. Keep up the great work and have a great day.
Awesome collection here. Thank you!
WOW! Model kit OVERLOAD!! Great vid!
Lots of cool stuff can’t wait to see them built on the channel.
The Ford family originated in early England. Their job was to "ford" water crossings - rivers, marshes and lakes - early bridge builders. The Ford family was given a peerage (made part of the Royal Household) by King Henry VIII, a TUDOR King whose family originated in Wales. Henry Ford was proud of his heritage and named his TUDOR line of cars as an homage. Ford Motors were also the first, and for a while the largest "foreign" car makers in England. Thanks for the PREVIEWS - EXCITING stuff ! ! !
cant wait to order the british mobile chapel!
I tell you what..after seeing that box art, no wonder Abbott and Costello were so afraid to meet the wolf man!!!.. looking forward to these builds sir!!
been watching you for 5 years....because of you i have purchased 27 models///you should get some $$$ for that :)
HPI - the only guy who can keep up with Round2's model release schedule...... 😉
Lots of cool stuff coming out. I like the Chevy Step side and the '32 Ford
Thanks for letting the information?
The past issueings of the 57 300 you were able to build stock version of em....and lemme tell ya a very very detailed quality kit that went together absolutely great I personally love em
Looking forward to seeing you build the bear - like to see the reviews.
Thanks so much for sharing Chris!
I want that Kenworth K123 kit.
I want the Boss Nova by AMT I can't wait
29:44 - that old 60ty corvette is good for parts if nothing else. For those “quick” kits that don’t have engine included.

wow chris great kits great video as always. i enjoyed your trip video to round 2.as a young model builder at 73 yrs old looking forword to building some of these kits.beinging on a fixed income makes it kinda tuff .to chose with kits to buy now a days. but still love this a former vistor to shanno wisconsin. in the 80s/90s when family lived there. now a tpk ill resident.
Round2 told me at their table in the Detroit model show that the Chrysler 300 is only a custom build, not stock. So I went around the Detroit marketplace and bought an earlier-released kit 300 that can be built as a stock production car.
lol, a teacher who works extra time to help students is a tutor, not a tudor, Chris. 😀 I know, the words sound alike, I got your point, just had to rib you a bit. 😉
I've been told the '72 Corvette has a hardtop in the kit. Hope when you build it, you can show that roof option and how well it fits.
Really cool models. 👍
Cool stuff
With that ‘39/‘40 Ford, you should see about building it that would be half ‘39 and half ‘40.
Saying that the Warlock sells fast is the understatement of the year; I think it's even harder to get than the MPC Demon.... All the Canadian online shops sold out in a couple of hours; I'd get an email saying they were in stock, and when I'd get to the website, they'd already be sold out. And no Canadian hobby shop had a restock since. The way things kinda drip feeds over here is quite frustrating!!!!
i here you im waiting on the 71 demon and want the 68 coronet hard top since i already grabbed the convertable.
@@hurtlocker6611 Are you in Canada? If, so, check out Hobby Sense; they're the only ones with the Demon in stock right now! Hurry up!!!
Those kits are all over EBay.All you have to do is look.Stop dealing with just one retailer.
@@dday9257 ya only problem is im in Canada and ebay shipping is like 40 us which is like 50 can, i would wrather wait
@@hurtlocker6611 Did you see the response I wrote you a couple of hours ago? I told you where to get the 71 Dodge; I wrote the reply 2 times and it always gets deleted :S
I love the Ford stuff Bill elliott, mustangs etc it looks like my room ,even the SOHC!
And I too was a tech for30 yr but on JD dealer heavy eqip. Been watching to learn to paint cars been into planes n armor, want to paint like u!
Maybe you could do the saber tooth tiger, just to do something different, from what you’ve normally seen and or done?
Looking forward for that 77 Chevrolet perhaps make it weathered rat rod
Just some thoughts: How about a kit of the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, for those of us 70s kids. I've never seen a kit of the 68 Buick Skylark. One of my favorite kits from when I was a kid was the Dodge Deora with the camper top. I'd love to build that one again. How about some of the weird-looking Dodges and Plymouths from the early 60s--I loved those old Jo-Han kits, or maybe some of the radical 50s concept cars.
Very crisp models.
Catalogues are worth collecting in their own right
I really wish they would make a 39/40 chevy special deluxe sedan
Greetings Chris. Do you have a preferred outlet to purchase the ICM kits? Perhaps one that you get a kickback?
The Little Red Wagon and Touch Tone Terror were cool, but I really miss the Backup Pickup. That needs to be reissued. I missed buying it when it first came out and have regretted it ever since.
You guys listening Round Two?
Was it just me or did the video cut off early at 30:19 before showing the rest of the kits?
Yeah, I was wondering about that myself!
Just found your channel and I'm lovin it . I'll be 62 in June and I'll be one to tell anyone you're never too old to learn something new. I've already picked up a couple things I'll be trying, like the floor polish. I'm actually commenting on AMT . I agree they're always coming out with something new , but 75% of the kits I get from AMT , something is warped bad . How do you deal with this ? I said 75% but it's probably higher than that. One more question for now. Have you heard anything about a re-release of Ohio George Montgomery's 33 Willys or his famous Mustang ?
Would love for round 2 too bring back the 1967 galaxies 500 fastback it hasn't been reissued in a very very very long time....the 68 fastbacks same story as well how bout both??? Please?!?!?
I would like to see short bed pick up trucks except long bed trucks all the time
I love those kits. This winter should be fun.
Hi, Do you happen to know when the Revell, 1/25th scale, C8 Corvette, Is coming out?
That 77 Chevy is a re-release of a late 80’s early 90’s Hot Rod edition kit. I had it and remember the plastic tires that were split and you had to glue them together.
I had one too, can't wait to get one when they arrive in Australia. And to see what Chris does to it!
the mustang 2 kit was originally produced by IMC in the 60s----AMT had a mustang 2 conversion for its kit but I like this version better---it seems to look more like the real thing to me----have a built up and one still in the box----was ahead if its time with all the working features----is a kind of fiddly kit to build but if you take your time and check all the fitments in my humble opinion it turns out to be really nice with the white paint and blue stripes----and I dont think it is for a beginner----because when I built the original back when I was 14 or 15 it almost ruined me for model building----but----I got over it
Please take that stock 72 Corvette Sting ray and kit-bash it to make "The Monster" from Death Race 2000! (1975). I still can't believe american companies wont release those designs.
Damn Richard - I wanted to be the first to make that kit!!!!😊
Seriously, I can't understand why no-one has done Frankenstein's car as a kit - whilst there may not be thousands of DR2000 fans out there, it would be a cool kit in it's own right.
BTW - the car used was actually a "Shala-Vette" kit car - I believe a model was released by Monogram back in the day but even pictures of the kit seem to be as rare as hen's teeth. This Stingray would be a good substitute but would need work on the headlights and then matching the wheels(😢). And the paintwork - much easier with decals!!!!
What happened to the rest of the AMT offerings? It jumped to the next segment before you got to the Kenworth and trailer showings.
Chris what happened to the rest of the Round 2 selection of kits ? You still had a pile of kits on the table and you went to the next set of models.
I’m looking for a 1977 Chrysler Cordova. If you find one, please post the link where I can purchase it.
you could have the cave bear fight the sabertooth cat that would be a great dio
I'm amazed how ICM are still producing being a Ukrainian brand.
My CHP car is on the way
Is that a repop of the IMC Mustang II ?
If I may please: at 18:22 you show the Round2Version of the 1963 Mustang II. I have this kit but it was made by Lindberg, circa 1995 (kit number 72169). I also have the Cougar II kit, also by Lindberg, vintage 1996 (kit number 72162).
Actually IMC Originally brought out the 1963 Concept Mustang in the early 60s, Same with the Concept Cougar, They brought out kits like a Little Red Wagon in 1966 and 4 years later they did the Touch Tone Terror in 1970, And a lot of road race car's, The company was sold to Hawk, Testor's and the Japanese company called Union, Then in the early 1990s Lindberg acquired all the molds back.
@@haroldhoffmanjr4608 Thanks for the heads-up. I was pretty sure my kits were not the first issues, but they were the earliest ones I came across.
There was a stock and custom version of the Chrysler 300 I don't know if that release will have both versions
THANK"$ GRRR88T SHOWING !!! ... .. . 😮😅😊 BROTH"R ... .. .
Kozak 001 looks very similar to the bushranger that Australia has sent to ukraine
Washington state is being bipolar also Cris
Round 2 adds tires and decals. Other than that it will be the 40+ year old model. And they can be crappy.
I hope "Real Life" for you hasn't been negative...
The D is an ugly ship. Has like one good angle. Constitution Class for the win.
It's amazing what Ukrainian drones are doing to Russian tanks!
ICM could legit release a model of a Ukranian wheat field, and I'd buy it! :)
@@eclipsehorse8693 only built one of their kits but it was top quality.
@@TI4438 yeah, I hear really good things about them. I wanna try a Tacom kit one of these days too
Same car models,😂 different box Rendering. Priced higher 40.00 bucks now might be higher 😢.
Finally a really nice USS Reliant kit
