KungFuJesus 1 Thats true. They do have many mistakes in their show. It’s just weird to me how everyone likes to attack it on things other shows have done as well. Like I saw one comment complaining about the re-use of background characters when svu and other shows do that too.
There's a difference between unrealstic and mistake. Unrealstic is like Superman, Even if it's well done, it's still unrealstic. Mistake is like seeing the strings holding the actor for superman in the air.
This show is on my recommended, I’m 2 years late, and now I love this show 😁

Oh good blast from the recent TV past. Cdn dramas can sometimes be hit or miss. I wasn’t sure about this show when it first started - it had its silly plots in the beginning- but it started to find its footing and have its moments. This scene in the Season 2 premiere was definitely one of them.
Andy got more confident (way more likeable) in later seasons, and the show clearly earned a following good enough to not only last an impressive six seasons but also get a slot on American prime time TV too. Summertime, but still.
I was pleasantly surprised how much the series actually showed off Toronto and Ontario even more than Flashpoint did. When they featured Constable Oliver Shaw singing When I’m With You with a perp in the back seat, I was in!

I feel like it would have made more sense to just add in the initial blood spray onto her face in post-edit, as opposed to leaving a spray gun in the final shot of the episode at 1:32.

I just want to be clear about this, this show is good. I am not here to rag on the chow or be a pain. I just couldn't get this out of my head. This is how an active shooter protocol works, you first, at top priority, secure the scene. You have to even go by the shot and/or dead (At least in my experience), and especially do not holster your weapon at the time he did. Second, you tend to the injured, get paramedics, etc. You never, never send an ambulance right when the shooting starts, only let them station nearby and be ready to head to the shooting until its fully safe.

I love how these cop shows that depict CANADA as being way more violent than it is. For Example, (gov statistics) in 2016 there were 266 firearms homicides in Canada ... out of a population of 36,382,941. That's 0.000006% of the population killed each year by firearms. But TV script writers have to depict CANADA as being akin to Chicago, I suppose.

I am an officer and transmission from blood splatter or even a needle prick is actually much rarer than you'd think. If that officer wasn't just a part of a murder I'm sure she'd get checked sooner rather than later. Doing it faster isn't really going to change the fact if she actually did contract anythjng.

That cop was standing right next to the person who had their brains blown out and their blood is on them. Plus she had one of the rounds from the weapon used lodged in her vest. She's definitely part of the investigation of the murder. Same thing buddy.
@somethingsomethingDarkSide im not a cop but he's right if the cop is not bleeding she stay plus she was looked at by EMT on scene and she had one of the rounds in her vest and shes going to need to be question. Trust me I know I'm a first responder we will be question if we see something happened on scene from blood that was out of place to what some one said to what we did right before shit hits the fan if we aren't hurt we stay unless they want us at the police station. Don't start with first responders we are family and that cop knows what he's talking about like I have to be very careful of what I say when we leave a call if its a dead person we can't say what we want like the dudes name to nobody but the police and if are a cop then ever cop has to be away from u u can't talk about it

Nobody who's actually an officer would willingly give that info away unless you're the person we're dealing with in person.
