  • The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 in action!
[Part 1] In this video I will demonstrate some of the ways I plan to use the Micro Studio G2 camera in my projects, specifically to the "Top Down" or overhead shots of my desktop. I am using a 15mm, a 35mm and a 50mm lens for varying degrees of closeness to my subject, be that individual Eurorack Modules or a hardware synthesizer's display panel, etc.
The lenses in this video are also great for low-light environments, with the 50mm and 35mm having f0.95 aperture, and the Leica 15mm f1.7 being ultra wide. The depth of field on the 50mm is gorgeous! (is that why they call it a "nifty fifty?") Check it out!

Got a favorite hunk of glass you use in your photography or film projects? Let me know in the comments here, as I am always looking to improve my imagery as much as I can! Also, be sure to check out Part 2 of this 2-part series where I show how I build my camera rigs: czcams.com/video/PT6FKSnbPxY/video.html
