  • Showing how you can get some interesting effects on the Behringer 2600 by using the ring-mod output as an input. Like most of my tricks this probably works on the Korg, Antonus, and ARP 2600 as well although I have no way to verify this.

    ya outside the box thinking is great. you make the 2600 make many wild sounds. i notice it in many, if not most, jamming vids

      Thanks! I try to do a unique 2600 sound for every jam but some of them get used in other videos.

      It's a bit of a strange technique I still haven't figured out what it's potential is.

    That's wild! Nasty!

      It's wild for sure. Doing this without the preamp can have some different effects but I've still been too lazy to figure out what is going on exactly.

    I'd be surprised if someone knows what's going on if you don't know. The oscilloscope is so interesting with these weird patchings. What's that program you are using, looks clearer and simpler than Zelscope

      Thanks but I'm not very knowledgeable technically compared to synth repair and synth DIY people. Someone like that can probably tell what's happening here. The Scope/Spectral modules are running in Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular. Scope is called CV Watcher and the other thing is a Cherry module I forget what it's called.

      @@Bata9999 The repair guys huh? Well I had a broken slider on my 2600 last week, but as it was under warranty the repair guys sent out a new one the day they got it. I thought it was an easy fix?

    • @Bata9999
      @Bata9999  Před měsícem

      It probably was an easy fix but for some reason made sense for them to just send a replacement unit. I've heard of guitar companies destroying 100s of guitars that didn't sell because it made more financial sense to write them off as a total loss. Not sure if that's what's going on here though.
