It's past its usefulness as a car show. A long time ago it used to be about the cars but these days it's just a few lip service shots of some cars and the rest of it is how much bullshit and smacktalk Clarkson can give the other presenters. It's exploded in popularity recently because it's just become quasi-reality entertainment for mass morons. There are better shows on the internet for car enthusiasts. Top Gear can rest in peace.

They just smashed the most random group of people together and called it a day. I lost massive respect for BBC that day. Shame on them, he is a comidian, he makes jokes, deal with it. Be it the Falkland war or the nazi party, his jokes are gold.

Racist jokes are actual racism, they are part of the story of racism that allows stupid backward opinions to remain and reside in social consciousness.
Clarkson is a racist and sexist bully, the physical assault was the last straw. I would like to see more sympathy for the guy that was on the receiving end of the attack, noone seems to remember he's a real person who was punched at work.
I do not think Clarkson was raciest at all, he discriminated equally! He made jokes about Africans, Asians, Russians, Germans, Mexicans, French, and even me as an American! In my opinion if you can not laugh at yourself you need help. I personally am half German and half Polish, and I live in the United States... let the jokes begin.

As "Low Gunfire" said 6 months ago - "The producer did do his job booking a hotel restaurant for the presenters so they could eat after filming. But Jeremy stayed behind and went to a pub for 2 hours to get drunk. When Jeremy finally came to the hotel restaurant - at nearly midnight - it was predictably shut because the cooks had gone home for the night. Then Jeremy decided to be stupid and took his silly and unjustified anger out on the producer."

After Richard and James had left Top Gear, then Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc took over the show. Chris Evans quit Top Gear aften 1 season, and then Chris Harris came in. I really miss Clarkson, Hammond and May. The new Top Gear is extremely boring.

+jasonteow It's a term used to describe some people of Asian descent, based on the perceived "slope" of their eyes. So when Jeremy said there was a slope, he was at face value referring to the structure of the bridge, but also referring to the Asian man walking along it at the time.

I am a loss. Great fan of the show and all 3 presenters. Clarkson brought the show back from the brink of death, and gave it a new lease of life with the help of hampster and captain slow. OK he shouldnt have hit the guy, but with whats being going on in his personal life recently no wonder he snapped. People are also forgetting the fact that itwas just a hit and the victim drove himself to ER plus the victim didnt report the incident, it was clarkson that reported it to the BBC. (maybe the victim didnt think there was any point and didnt hold a grudge) i mean it was partly his fault as its every producers responsibility to make sure presenters are looked after. Hats off to hammond and may. love the way you step up and stick by your friend. All 3 bring a uniqueness to the show, and i just love the challenges. I suggest they take the show and walk to another broadcaster, sure wont be called TopGear but hey all us fans will know it is. Good luck guys
