Well Jeremiah later stated that the gas was nothing more than some cosmetics. Meaning it had no effect on his mind, so Jeremiah was always like that deep inside. He was always going to try and blow up Gotham. He had it planned from the very beginning.
Scared of Dildos I see what you mean, but it could be the gas that made him think like that. I doubt he was like that before the gas because you saw how he acted. He was AFRAID of Jerome but if he was like that before the gas than he would have done something about it. Do you see what I mean? We even saw him transform a bit with the gas and we also saw the impact on that man with the gas that was being tested on
well no. Throughout the whole show Jerome has always been saying how Jeremiah is just as insane as him, how he's just as fucked up. When they were children Jeremiah created lies and false stories that Jerome tried to kill him just so he could turn the family against him and be the better twin. And you have to remember he built the energy tubes before being hit with the gas, which later turned out as huge bombs powerful enough to destroy Gotham. If anything, Jeremiah turned Jerome insane since childhood due to his lies. And the gas which was given to him was an altered combination to the the other gases.

I think what they’re going for is that neither is truly the joker, but these two brothers and there differences inspire the next joker who is a mix of the 2. Jerome is all madness and Jeremiah is more of a planner and a different kind of mad. Mix them together and you get the real joker

Luis Fer Alonzo It's not fair that your comparing Jerome to Jeremiah because Jerome has been on this show for quite a few seasons now and Jeremiah only has 4 episodes and he hasn't got much time as Jerome to show what he can truly do. Jeremiah is more calm and collected which is kind of more scary in my opinion and he's smart so he knows how to do shit properly if that makes sense but that's just my opinion

I really want a spin-off to show Jerome’s full story like his life at the circus before he snapped and killed his mother idk why but I think It would be an interesting concept for a show or at least a movie.
