There wouldâve been a safe in the office, maybe valuables to sell. Doubt many people would think of robbing a school though.

Its a bit frustrating that "lying to police" is a life sentence but rape is like a couple year sentence.
iâm sorry but if i walk into a kfc thatâs empty, unlocked and has blood on the ground iâm running out and calling the police before anyone else.
Some people are actually afraid of the police, especially since police corruption can run rampant in smaller towns surprising enough, and they don't want to take the fall for something they didn't do.
No shit huh? I thought she said there was blood on the floor and then she called her step dad? Wtf? Yeah i would have called the cops b4 anything else.
Real quick!
Story sound whack from the start.
Same Iâd be so scared
They could afford to put up a $50,000 reward but they couldn't afford to get the crime scene photos developed professionally!?

Soooo KFC and Taco Bell work under the same company. And my first job was actually at a Taco Bell. The managers and higher ups were VERY adamant about leaving the back door locked and not to be open passed sunset.. Learning about the murders made me realized why it was so important to leave the back door shut. Like DAMN.
Oh my gosh that's so true, I worked at KFC and we always had to keep doors locked unless it was the dining area and when we were closing we had to lock the dining area doors while cleaning up. It was the same when I worked at sonic the backdoor had to stay shut but people working there now don't listen and leave it open, after watching this that's scary.
@@allysonallen5462 itâs so scary lmfaooo
Yes my first job was kfc and we had the same rule and when the door is opened alarms went off and only a managers thumbprint can turn it off
I worked night shifts alone in a hotel and refused to take bins out til 7am when I was leaving cos it was unsafe. My managers never complained about it thankfully
Dang⊠my first few jobs were at sit down restaurants, and the back doors were always unlocked. Even at night⊠I always worried someone would just come in.
The third man who committed the sexual assault could definitely be identified through comparing the dna with ancestry databases.... they could totally get him with that new technology. i hope they try that route. super weird how these other two are seemingly covering for him.
Ummmm. . . . maybe they did not want to tell police that they off3d him.
He robbed an elementary school? What did he steal? Some crayons? A calculator? A couple lunch tickets?
Maybe some crusty old toys
Maybe some trophies or idk but schools do have some things I could see them going to a elementary school to steal. Maybe not a lot of stuff but thereâs some.
Random Dork my school had real ones from teams that played sports. :/

đł itâs most likely pretty haunted too!
I went to college with 2 of the victims and knew all of them to some degree. It still hits me hard after all these years.
This is a possible serial killer case Iâm begging you to look into
Julia Woodward was 21 and last seen at an airport terminal in San-Fran, heading to Reno Nevada for a job opportunity. Nearly two months after arriving in Reno Nevada, her remains her found in a rural location. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. She had her eyes taped shut with bandages, her legs had been tied together with zip ties, and she was gaged with what appeared to be her own clothes. Convicted murderer Charles Sullivanâs DNA was connected years later with Julia Woodwardâs case, but thatâs not the end of this story.
Many news articles state, âIt may be likely that the killer is linked with picking up hitchhiker females that are similar in appearance to the currently suspected victim. The killer of the following women targeted young women and female children, often who were hitchhikers or traveling somewhere. There are similarities in these murders, including blunt trauma as a cause of death, closeness in age, and being buried in a âshallow graveâ in the desert.â
Jeannine Smith 17, was last seen at the Circus Circus Hotel on October 28th. Remains Found earlier that year. She has similar blunt force trauma head wounds as a cause of death, and had been buried in a shallow grave. Just like Julia prior that year.
Joanna Robinson 23, on September 21 1975, Her remains were found in a shallow grave, in a rural area, close to the other victims, especially close to Jeannine. Cause of death could not be determined based of circumstances but she was last seen in Oregon, the police are looking at it as an abduction homicide.
Cindy Cook 16, January 25th, 1981, her remains were found near an intersection in cold springs. She was a short distance away from train tracks and was found in a pile of sagebrush. She was last seen hitchhiking close to the dumping ground of Julia, Jeannine, and Joanna a day before her body was found. Her purse and belongings were found a few miles away from her body, dumped.
Gloria Crummett 16, her remains were found July 26th, 1971. Her body was found in similar condition, same cause of death and she was close in appearance and age with the other potential victims. She was reported missing on July 16th, 1971.
Susan Rae Perron 14, whoâs remains were found in the desert on April 16th 1973. Approximately 5 miles away from highway 95.
Cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head. Just like the other victims. She was last seen walking to the park to go swimming.
Jody Marie Miller 13, was last seen on June 21st, 1971. Her remains were found on November, 2nd 1971. In a shallow grave in the desert, very close to previous victims dump sites. Two possible Jane doeâs. Along with another possible hitchhiker victim.
These women deserve justice and their story to be told. Itâs all way too familiar to be coincidence. Please give this case the time of day and spread their stories. They deserve to be heard.
Wow that's insane I hope a channel member sees this and recommends it to her

Agreed I don't know if they were the main people of the crime, but they were defiantly involved. The DNA was found, and it's (from what I know) difficult to frame someone with blood. They cousins were involved in some way, and I'm pretty sure they know who assaulted Opie Huggins.

I was pretty young when this happened, but I remember when it was solved. This also reminds me of the Brown's Chicken Massacre of the early 1990s, in Palatine, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago). No Kilgore doesn't have a KFC anymore. Haven't had one in years.
Your channel was recommended to me and instant fan! Very good narration and definitely kept me invested. Didn't even realize it was an hour long!
ok but sis how you find alllll this out tf all your stories are super detailed !! i can never đ©
iâm sorry... LIFE in prison for PERJURY... i thought that had a max sentence of like 5 years
Not if you have a serious criminal history.
Probably race played a factor
this was also 15 years ago, laws do change over time
Things can have a max sentence but outside factors can permit an exception to it. Such as previous criminal history, multiple cases of the crime etc
@@prashansaudashk ... did you just suggest he got life for something you can get *max* 5 years... because he was black?
My brother in lawâs father was one of the victims. Iâve never heard the whole story because itâs not an easy thing to talk about. Only read a few articles. This is heart breaking.
Iâm so sorry.
Editor thank you!
hope he can rest in peace x
He is in a better place đđ»đŒ Let him fly high

I just wanna See a Eleanor and Bailey Sarian collab đ„șđ„șđ
Excellent suggestion â€ïžđ„â€ïžđ„
please never stop making these kinds of videos you're the only youtuber i watch and ur content is amazing
I think you should do a Survivor week! I know you've covered some stories where someone escaped an abduction but there are actually several! The stories they have behind how they escaped is and could be helpful to others!
Honestly I feel like those men could have been framed. I think this could have been a cover-up. Idk who it was covered up for but, I don't think that film was ruined by accident.
This is a good point because I was wondering why theyâd ruin NINE WHOLE REELS of film?! After the first one, Iâd be more careful!
K A
Maybe they developed the film altogether? I took a photography class and as long as you have enough materials (which is still weird because they cost a decent amount of money), you can develop multiple rolls of film at once.
@@Caitilizzie This is good insight. Thank you!
@@kesharaa2355 No problem!
yea, i feel iffy about the whole thing. something just doesnt feel right
My hometown is about 15 minutes away from Kilgore. My mom works in Kilgore. This is a really close to home case and is just so terrifying! Iâve been there a million times and didnât know this happened until a couple years ago and it blows my mind that this case is known now by millions. Itâs still a really small town, the only traffic it gets is because of the little college thatâs there. This is wild and heartbreaking.
I've been binging your videos for days now and I love them! I'm also in love with your eye makeup in this video. Keep up the awesome content!
Why is it always the sweetest, kindest, and just overall amazing people that die in a horrific way. It seems like in ever single video, the victim is described as bringing so much joy and light to people. Its so heartbreaking.
People only say good things about people who have passed. Thatâs why it appears that way.
Yeah imagine the presenter like well he was a bit of prick, he did fuck all helpful for anyone the selfish twat may god reject his soul đđ

This made me burst out laughing đđđđđđ

im pretty sure its out of respect for the victims, most probably have good and bad sides but honestly i think everyone would prefer to be remembered with happiness and joy :)
the fact that iâm watching this outside of kfc waiting on my food
Dasi run run run đââïž
Did u go in?
There were evidence inside the KFC of the 2 black men blood, but they never spoke of the wounds, if it was on his shoulder, arm etc.
Inconclusive evidence
Something is still wrong.
Ikr I'm getting a KFC in a min
did you eat it 8 months ago?
As far as I know, you can't get charged for lying to police (maybe if they lean toward "obstructing" a case) and "perjury" is only when lying under oath in a court room. And to get a sentence like he did for perjury, something tells me there's a lot more going on there that they aren't releasing to the public. Of course, I could be wrong, but that whole part is hinky to me.
I canât imagine how scared Kim mustâve been.
Iâve heard this story at least once, but itâs still horrific. If Eleanor wants another fast food murder case, I recommend the infamous Brownâs Chicken murders in Illinois; they did eventually find the killer some years ago and has multiple life sentences
The unsolved Lane Bryant massacre in Tinley Park, IL.
so sad, the Browns Chicken Murder happened when I was 13... so glad they caught the scumbags who did it finally!
Still find it ridiculous that the ex gf who knew from the start and kept it a secret for a decade... was given the $98k reward....
@@kellydeal72 Yes!!! I've been wanting this case to be covered for so long. It's been 13 years as of last month. Still boggles my mind that man is still free.
things i do not want to be seeing an hour before my shift at work...at kfc: this video!
Lol I would have been so paranoid at work that day
Ooof i feel that girl
Guess im quitting XD
same
Righttt
Sorry. Iâm 5 minutes in and this is super unrelated to the case but Eleanorâs eyeshadow is INCREDIBLE and I just needed to say it. So stunning!!!
I mean personally I would rather be put to death sentence than spend the rest of my life in a prison cell so I donât see why they fear it so bad
"It wasn't quite a match."
(Phew)
"...but they arrested him anyway."

Kilgore, Texas is my hometown. I grew up hearing this story and personally know a ton of family members of the victims. Great job telling the story!!
Is it true that most Kilgore residents feel that law enforcement was involved in the murder and believe that the framing story may have been true? I know several have stated that they don't believe that one man subdued and killed five people, two of whom were athletic and physically intimidating.
@@ERASEREPLACEPLACE I'm from near Kilgore so I can 50% speak to this, I have mostly heard that police were just incompetent and useless more so than complicit in the crime. What I have heard is that they think there was an accomplice but police never got them
@@ERASEREPLACEPLACE People believe that the police just didn't do their job well at all. They focused in on one guy for so long and forgot about all other leads. People do believe that there are at least 3 people who helped in this murder. They believe they are all related and that's why they would never give up the other suspects involved.
Iâm in Kilgore too!!! đ€đŒ
I love these true crime videos. You go into so much more detail on each case than most youtubers do. I love that you don't show much bias, if any, when it comes to these cases. It lets us see all details and facts that come with the cases, and it lets us see all possible theories. I also appreciate that you do cases in the US and the UK. While I have heard of some of the ones in the US, you still have some that I haven't heard of, you still cover ones that I haven't both in countries. Not to mention that with the ones I have heard of, you always bring up new information and evidence that I haven't heard of. Basically, I really love these videos!
I've been hearing you in the background with my tablet insight all morning and afternoon while I've been meal preping for the week.
I havent burnt anything yet, I say it's been a very productive day.
I feel like you should have a podcast.
For some reason when Eleanor was doing her intro I thought she was gonna say "Everything I'm about to say can and will be used against you in court."

i was shocked to see you cover this! Opie was my great aunt, unfortunately she was murdered before i was born. both me and my mother have an interest in true crime and this might be where it stems from.
for real?
@@rebecca-yr8cm yes, my mom remembers going to kilgore once they found out abt it
oh god thats horrible im sorry
Monty was my cousin. Some strange reason I was thinking of him tonight and ran across this.
Imagine being a lawyer and defending a murderer thinking you're doing good because you believe they're "innocent"
Okay, i seriously need to stop watching these videos at night
