Daniel here. Can't thank Adam enough for the great work he did. Wasn't expecting the turnaround to be so quick! Awesome job. Can't wait to give it to my wife at the end of April. She'll love the video too I'm sure☺️
Happy anniversary to you both
Looks great!!
Happy Anniversary Daniel!
Love it Adam! Every step up the food chain with what you do with the wood adds value.
As a retired FF the first thing that came to mind when you showed the exhaust coming out the window is the staining that will occur over time. You should extend the ducting away from your building more.
Love the sign, I may have to get one made.
Thanks for the video Adam. Nice job on the plaque. It's good to find a side job that you actually enjoy doing. That way it never seems like work. Take care, keep it real and God Bless you all!!!❤😊
Soooooo exciting!! It's really going to be fun watching you design/create these!! Thanks for another great video! God bless you and your family! 👍♥️🙏
I bought a 20 ton Huskee log splitter from Tractor Supply. With my mini (micro) ex I am finally able to get my 1 acre cleared of downed Loblolly Pine, a species of Southern Yellow Pine.
I had to go to North Carolina pick it up. They even assembled it for me. None of the stores in SC had one in stock. But I saved on the Sales Tax!
Tried out today on some smaller logs that I could carry. I'll need the mini-ex to load it for the longer 16" to 20" pieces. Pine firewood for campfires.
Maybe I won't make a lot of money selling it, but, hey, I'm having fun with my new Big Boy Toys. Eventually I'll put up a video.
Good stuff Adam! I think you’ve figured out everything you can do with wood to make money.
Adam, that was a great video. The product you created was really nice. This looks like a very awesome side hustle for your wood business and CZcams video world. Keep up the great work. Bill H from Cranberry Township
Great job!! Like that you've found another way to use the would to make customers happy!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Your videos always make my cup of coffee that much better!
Love that!
I really appreciate how you explain everything out.I think you do a wonderful job.
That's a really nice piece of work Adam.
Great job, Adam. A beautiful piece of work.
Adam, that is really nice. I will keep you in mind and also spread the word. Awesome.
Very cool! Nice work Adam👍👍
Great project, and good business to be in. You take pride in your work and it translates to the finished product. Just a thought, you might also want to devise a way to have customers send their wood plank, working on our mountain, sometimes a piece of wood brings back a memory of the tree, and the work involved to fell buck and skid it.
Looking good! You def can grow this business
Lovely work! Good luck in growing your business!
Lovely work, Adam
That looks awesome! Great job!🤠
Adam, you come up with the most amazing projects and this was another great example. Keep going with the great content!!
Thanks Bill!
Very well done Adam!
Hi Adam , have the ortur laser engraver and the lightburn software. Love it. I do live edge projects all the time. Also many cutting boards. Thanks for showing your system. Take care.
Thanks for sharing!
Very nice!
I’m sure wranglerstar is laughing all the way to the bank.
I’m sure he is
Very impressive work with the plaque, Adam 👏
It is a great rig that laser engraver. Beautiful job. Great video.
Very nice Adam, love watching your videos.
Thanks Bill
Adam you definitely have a good thing going there! I'll be reaching out to you in the future. Liked the comment about the other channel true!
Thank you!
nice tool/machine .best to all john
Really nice work - I enjoy your channel very much.
Thank you very much!
I mill tons of lumber for custom wood workers. I've considered getting a lazer. but honestly I don't have time to do that along with all the cutting boards and live edge tables and shelves.. The sign looks awesome.
Looks great
Good day Adam absolutely an awesome idea as a side line gig. Great work and will be shooting you an email for something I have in mind cheers Brad. 👌🏻🔥🇨🇦
Looking forward to it
Very nice i'm very proud of you
I am hoping the pound is filling up for spring and summer! Sign looks great! I still think you need a space to store lumber in doors. A new building and a solar wind powered drying kiln!
Not sure if you know this but harvesting logs in the winter when sap is down for live edge gives a greater chance of holding the bark 😊
Very good to know
What to do when it's raining in your woodyard ??? Adam, this a money maker ... let it rain, snow, or get dark too early ..... 👍👍
Great project, have a section on your website to showcase these items you've already done to help give people some ideas..
Looks fantastic, great work. Those signs are worth every penny 👍👍
Side question, what make/model wood stove is rhat?
Good subject. My priorities in order are: Get paid to fall trees and haul off the wood, sawmill, woodturning, then firewood. Woodlathe is probably easiest way to create value out of practically nothing.
Excellent video. Been a follower of Wranglerstar for a long time but have to admit I spend little time on his channel with the advent of you and Outdoors with the Morgans. Keep up the good work!
Right on. Thanks!
You spray the bark first or after the brush work? Looks great and I believe you are going to stay plenty busy with sign making after showcasing your nice work.
You might want to invest in a solar kiln and a storage building for these slabs. First getting them under cover and away from the weather then as able dried and ready for sale. It would increase your productivity and eliminate loss from planing. It would quickly recoup the costs and be a money maker.
That's cool.
As Joe would say,"value-added (fire)wood"!
cool!
Nice job!
Thanks!
@@HometownAcreswhat about drink coasters?
@@GrassRootOutdoorWork I can make those too
I am kind of surprised between you and Mike Morgan that I watch regularly that either of you choose to do outdoor wood furniture with as much of the raw materials you have access to?? Just a thought, not sure if the time involvement. I figure the aderondeck chairs are very popular that it would be that involved once all the cutting jigs were done.
My first guess was to sell them for wood turning blanks.
I used to be a channel member with wranglerstar but then he went off the deep end. Kinda sad.
I still watch from time to time but yeah. Kinda wild what happened there
@@HometownAcres I enjoy his Shop videos and his truck, videos and adventure videos, but the end of times rants are not my cup of tea.
no, he's just based now
I quit his channel a long while back.
Not my kind of person anymore.
Thats ok hes too based for you anyway.
The capital investment compared to firewood or other uses is outrageous.
I think the ends would look amazing and more rustic if it was chainsaw cut and even not square, more angled.
If you have the equipment to produce this product then go for it. It can only get more popular and profitable over time if you push it correctly.
As I was watching the video and watching the front side game produced. I said no, where this person is a fan of the channel. Wouldn't it be cool if you put produced by and then the channels logo either down in the corner on the front or even on the back side and just as I was thinking that. I seen the board flip over and you're putting something on the back side looks great
And now you’re going to get more orders than you can make 😆.
What is the name of that log skidder/dolly/whatever that is being towed (with the log on it) behind the side by side in the beginning?
ATV log Arch EZ Boardwalk
Ez Boardwalk log arch
Only problem is it's a small market for people who can afford art during tuff times.
He found a larger market with youtube
👍
Adam, is that your FB page with all of your videos? They usually aren’t current videos, but ones that are at least a few months old. The reason I ask, is your voice is never on it, and it is a robotic/generic voice over. Wasn’t sure if it was an imitation account or not. Also, love the quick glance of the retirement plaque!
It is our account but we have a Facebook management company that repurposes our CZcams content on there. They don’t do as nice a job of editing as we do here on CZcams in my opinion but managing 2 platforms is a lot so we outsourced that
@@HometownAcres totally understand. Smart to outsource. Keep your efforts concentrated where you get the most views. Thanks for explaining!
Humm...u got how many thousands in equipment overhead to make wood signs exactly?
How’s the pond doing?
Background view last week looked like it was almost full
Can’t you burn some raggy uncut logs on your fire from the woods instead of those nice ones in the crates. They would probably last longer as well apart from saving money. All the best from England .
Nice job Adam. I hope his wife doesn't see the video before he gives it to her.
I told him to not let her watch the video lol
To their point liking your channel more than Wranglerstar, I can agree to that. My issue with Cody is he pushes his religion and politics way too in your face nowadays. I appreciate that you don't do that, Adam. I used to like Cody's videos way more back in the day when he used to just go out and do stuff with the tractor and whatever.
HAHAHHAA I stopped watching Wrangler a long time ago. Just after he built the new Green building.
He is smoking something weird....
Seal the joint between the 2 Window pain's. A breese might blow the Fumes right up between them..
Thanks Adam...
Here's my take: Wranglerstar would rather order some useless crap offline and sit in front of a camera and talk about how great this gadget or gizmo is than actually go out and do some real work.
Think about it. When was the last time he took on a project and completed it without getting sidetracked into showing you some tool or unnecessary gadget that "gives him the fizz?"
Adam, channels like yours, where you actually work on stuff and make stuff are refreshing.
Please don't forget that and we'll let it slide when you tried to convince us (and yourself) that having an e-bike was saving time and wear and tear on a F-150 pickup truck.
It will though, obviously you can't do everything with the ebike, but there are trips you can use the bike and not use the car.
Spring - fall if the weather allows I'll use my ebike to bring my kids to daycare, thats a lot of start and stop driving I don't do in my car. That's just one of the tasks the ebike has taken over.
If you're charging 125 dollars for a 1/3 cord of fire wood you are ripping people off.
If you’re charging people 5 seconds of their time to read this comment you’re ripping people off
If he's selling out, he's obviously not overcharging for his market.
@@richarddabkowski2896 then go buy every stick that he's got.
