Thanks bro. This is what I am running on the raw tone, in case it helps! Amplitube Amp model VST + EQ + Rbass ( Plug in ) + Compression (Rcomp)

@@TheHalfBassedYogi Send me the raw audio file for reference? It definitely has to do with the fretless as well I guess.

@@soorajkumarr7646 Absolutely it does! On the fretless I am on the passive mode with just using the P pick up all the way. With a sponge towards the end of the bridge to bring some dampness. I will send you the raw file :)

You've given me a lot to think about! I'm coming back to your analysis to practice some of the things you've pointed out. Great job.

Thanks for breaking down the mysteries of this badd bass line. Love your humility guy. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful job! This is music that I grew up with, and sadly, took for granted for the most part. Your vid is a reminder to me that the music of my culture is studied and analyzed, and all over the world. Enjoyed your playing and analysis!

You sir, are only the 6th bassist I've seen/heard & perform - in my nearly 30yrs + as a bassist - to replicate that bass riff correctly on the breakdown of this classic song! I commend you for that!!!

Awesome work! Nailed the groove and articulated your analysis of the structure fantastically. I'd love to see the transcript but I do not have instagram nor will I. Not my bag. Any other way I could see the transcript?

The lick to the b7 is an octave higher. It's got the right vibe tho.

Was in the initial days before I started using Musescore, so it is a handwritten one. Will change this one too soon.
You can find link to my other transcription at thehalfbassedyogi.com.
      Thanks for watching! :D
