It would definitely have to be forget me nuts because the baseline does so much(bass line breakdown). There is no guitar line in the song just keys, drums, bass, vocals, and a sax solo. Always thought Prince played the baseline. You can definitely hear him doing background vocals. I definitely believe Prince learned something from this dude. “All This Love”, by the Debarge is a classic track that could have made the list.

They’re are the standard Fender pickups. I like the sound of a jazz bass with the neck pickup turned up a bit cause it sounds like a P bass but a bit more pointy… if that makes sense haha 😊

What’s amazing about Freddie is that he solved the Same Ole Love timing problem..his bass transitions quite well.
We personally know Freddie through friends. Nice to know that he has great bass lines. Great bass lines that made great songs last the test of time.
