    Great! Being able to see the final comp in the viewer means that this method also makes it so much easier to fine tune the border than compared to the Fusion method I was using. Thank you!

    simple is the best. I used this method for cam overlay too. But I did not bother to add a border. thy for share.

    Solid Color can also be transformed into different shapes with Compound Clip and then with Color's Power Window

      That's a cool method too. Always a hundred ways to do something in DaVinci haha

    Could you explain how your got the ripple fire effect, too? 0:19

    • @enviatics
      @enviatics  Před 11 dny

      Hi Gari... that effect was just an alpha channel overlay that I downloaded from Envato Elements (I used this one.... 1.envato.market/VmMgnR ) I then just added that under my webcam effect and timed it with my finger snap :-)

    would the same thing apply if i wanted to make an overlay for my stream and just do the same process but with a transparent background so that my face can be seeninside of it and just had a fancy border around it? or am I over thinking it?

    Thank you for this excellent video. You’ve gained an instant subscriber. I just tested if it’s possible to add the Transform effect directly to the generator but this is indeed not possible. It would be even better if it were.

      Thanks for the feedback.... yeah the compound clip bit makes it possible to drag the effect over... there may be other ways but it works and its simple.
