It's good to finally see some content around the m135i. I watched the original launch video of the m135i; video by whichcar and they mentioned that the turbo can handle a maximum of 2.7bar of boost at 1025° absolute pressure.

@@painauchocolate2395 absolute pressure though. If you convert it to atmospheric pressure, the boost is 1.7 bar

Currently not possible to tune these if they are newer than June 2020. Confident that there will be a release soon for this.
The power is enough for me I just want mine to pop and bang , as soon as there is a way around the lock I'll have mine done

Not that I'd buy one, because it could have 500bhp and I still wouldn't want it. Much prefer my more 'fun' M140i thanks :-)) 455bhp/634nm currently and plenty more to tap into yet heheh ...

Did the gpf/ppf removal through an eml on dashboard? What pipe did you replace it with?
Hi, can the aisin box handle the increase? The ACS guys prefered to leave the car with the stock hp stating the Aisin Box wont be able to cope.
Wpuld the supersprint tuning box have any effect on a 2021 car?

Dam so what did you remove again ? cause on mine I took of the back box but left the middle cat on and the difference is sound with a little more gain I guess ,
So where is the particular filter ?
They removed the primary cat off the downpipe and the secondary cat in the midpipe . Each probably yields a good 10hp each .
You can remove the midpipe cat without a check engine light but the main pipe will throw a check engine light since it has a pre and post o2 sensor ..
@@mjncorporation8839 I’ve seen people removing the mid pipe gpf/ppf and that also brings on the eml. However there are £150 sensors that will solve that
Think you will find the Mini is based on the BMW, what makes you think you can map the car more efficiently than the technicians at BMW with all of there resources, you need to remove all of the emissions control that the Euro regions impose on us, which should theoretically make it fail an MOT in the UK and wit the environment starting to kill our offspring this will only make matters worse with the cat removed.
Because when BMW wrote the engine map they had to do so taking into account everywhere in the world this car could run, all the conditions it would run in and all the types and quality of fuel that would be put in it. What that means is it comes from the factory with a very conservative and 'safe' map that will handle any conditions it comes across. If you know the car will only ever see UK roads, V-Power fuel and so on you can write a bespoke map that takes advantage of the full potential of the engine, turbo, intercooler etc, which means much more power and torque.
@@theberengersniper But this motor already runs 7 bar of boost standard, everything about it is highly strung and cooling is a problem, remaps do shorten the drive trains life thats a fact.

The car isn't tuned. These face-lift models of the M135i cannot be tuned yet. This is purely power gains from GPF removal.
@@samweller007 Yes they can silly boi, over here we got them tuned 350hp and 542nm, thats 72nm more than in this vid. Can't tune it what are you on about mate. 45hp gains from a dpf just realize how stupid you sound.
