Michael Douglas you should try the new echo black diamond line if you haven’t already. Supposedly the new stuff is stronger because it’s actually .105 line twisted tight to bring it down to .095 diameter. I’ve been meaning to try some myself one of these days but I’ve heard great things about it. I like line that flies very flat and doesn’t wobble at all. Makes it much easier to do edging that way.
Weed warrior all purpose trimmer line when I use it the trimmer line frades a lot when I use it use Gator trimmer line I like the way Oregon trimmer line cuts as well the trimmer line doesn't dig into the ground as much
Yeah, I’ve changed my mind since this video. I think the cf3 is the best. I still would like to test it against the black diamond from Ecco. Have you used that?
Haven't tried the Echo, but we cut 4 cemeteries and 3 Corporate accounts with nearly 2 miles of chain!ink and CF3 last longer than any other in your list.
I like Stihl x line and Stihl premium round and for my echo trimmers l like black diamond Oregon gator line round is good too sometimes like round because there's less vibration take care my friend 😁
i normally cut pretty thick grass and light brush. I could use a blade...... but it would take forever. I am looking for something extremely strong to avoid blowing all the line out always. I have been using the stihl x pattern, and its ok... but looking for something with better durability. I do have the tri blade, the brush blade and now the chainsaw blade from amazon which is amazing for big brush. My property if not nailed every year, by the 2nd year turns into light brush; then by the following year again i will need to hit it with the brush blade which will take forever.
Nice video! I’ve never tried the stihl line, but I’ve heard it’s good stuff. I really like 0.095 too. Good balance of strength and clean cutting.
Thanks! I’d like to bump up to the .105 but my 94r doesn’t recommend that.

Yes, I want to pick some up and do a comparison video with Stihl’s twisted line.
Great video 👊🏼 keep them coming !!!
Thanks!
CF3 Pro is my jam! I try them all though.

Thanks for the info!
We only use Still CF3. It is the best line for our needs, cemeteries are hard on line and it works.

Do you also soak your line prior to use?

Thanks for the comment! 👍🏻👊🏻💥
I run .105 in a 22cc trimmer. Spins it just fine
Great info man. Stihl all the way!
Thanks!
@@douglaslawncare2843 you're welcome. Subbed and supporting.
I recommend echo black diamond string trimmers
I want to get a spool and compare that to the Stihl twisted line. I’m assuming they are very similar.

Have you try the sheakespeare ugly yellow line 95
I haven’t. This is the only ugly line I have tried.
@@douglaslawncare2843 so is the blue line good
Echo black diamond cuts awesomely but its not durable at all
I just bought some to test out.
st
Stihl quiet line 0.80 2.0mm is best for my FS26rc japan version same as fs94 for cut centipede grass.
Nice! I’ve never used that.
@@douglaslawncare2843 I started use CF-3 pro 2.0 and 2.4mm, it's amazing.
Soak your line in water to make it last longer,, slows fraying
Just one correction It is pronounced “Shtil” instead of stil. It is German.
