I hope McGregors camp release extensive footage of his sparring and training sessions after the fight happens. Surely they are filming everything but keeping it all under wraps.
How can people keep saying he is shit at boxing? He is the best boxer in MMA with a history in boxing and one of the greatest fighting IQ's in the game he is obsessed with this stuff.. it's not that your wrong maybe he isn't great compared to top pro's but you cannot say that definitively until after the fight or there is more footage and evidence to sample, people are jumping to conclusions that because he is not a pro boxer he cannot box, though this seems obvious logic it really is not as simple as that these are uncharted waters here and is a unique situation, it is dumb to say either he absolutely "can" or "can't" box either way, what is fair is to say he is at an obvious disadvantage but we will see what he can really do august 26, saying anything else makes leaps based on subjective bias. There a lot of people on here who think they are a lot smarter than they actually are, nobody knows how good he is yet so claiming or pretending you do is just fake and idiotic. This applies to both sides, those saying he will get clowned and won't land a punch and KO'd whenever Floyd pleases and those on the other claiming he will easily KO Mayweather.
Paulie seems like a loyal person who will help Conor and will only use his inside knowledge ringside as the fight is happening. I am looking forward to Paulie explaining his experiences training and sparring with Conor. while commentating the big fight
Yeah I wan't to hear his feedback after all the negative things he has said in the past and now the more constructive advice or concerns he has been expressing recently, only problem is there may be non disclosure agreements preventing him from talking about what happened in camp or what he thinks on it until after the fight.. although I don't know if that applies to the fight itself meaning his commentary.
abeeftec then you are just as stupid as Connor.. .watch his boxing vs nate diaz...then compare that to any footage of Floyd.. .even though Connor is taller he is going to come up short. money is too smart
I think he's worried, maybe not about Conor, but about his inability to perform well. He's weak and he knows it. His interviews show that, he even said it himself. Now you may say he's just selling the fight, but his body language showed otherwise. He's gonna crumble and get beat.
Paulie says McGregor’s team was adamant that they spar before the Garcia-Broner fight. It seems that McGregor wants Paulie to cover that fight with a marked up face.
I am an mma fan first but that is something I don't think people understand about boxing. It doesn't become easier when you take away the other weapons such as kicks and grappling. I think it becomes harder (to land punches) because you have no other weapons to close the distance and and your opponent knows that he can only get hit with a left or a right hand. You have to be tricky with your feet and feints and I don't see Connor being able to land his power shots on floyd.
Trevor D you're not just boxing, you're going against someone that gets paid millions to do it. Pro boxing's another world. Conor's going to be the weakest boxer Floyd's dealt with since elementary school. You have to respect someone that's making himself a billionaire from his hands.
Chris B nah, he will enter the fight having lost all confidence. people dont understand that confidence is something that can only be gained, maintained then grown. no matter if a guy looks confident, they have to do things in sparring and the fight to build it.
it'd be good for experience though, confidence also grows from experience. Not that I was saying he would do well against lomachenko but variety is also always a good thing. :)
I like McGregor as an act but he hasn't released no sparring footage since he sparred Chris motherfuckin Van. There's probably a reason for that... I would say I respect him for taking the fight with Floyd and stepping into boxing but name me a fighter or better yet ANY human being who wouldn't take that money? He's definitely earnt it for what he's achieved in MMA, I mean he's literally carried the UFC through it transition and he obviously knows what he's worth. talk about playing your cards right at the table.
DANTE DIABLO Finally someone with a brain. Listen, I'm A HUGE MCGREGOR Fan. I am living on a prayer that he knocks Mayweather out, but I'm also a realist and know Floyd ain't undefeated for no reason. Good on Conor for making that MONEY though. Period!!
3 minutes into this interview and it's clear corner has no chance they're saying it without saying it.. not that most people with any understanding of the fight game would ever think Connor did have a chance
You know Malignaggi is going to spill the beans on how the sparring went after he's left the training camp! Can't wait to hear what he will say. Paulie is always honest.
I think another good thing about Conor training with Pauline, is that paulie has a very similar defense as Floyd has. They both have that philly shell stance, and they also are good at blocking punches with their shoulders. So if mcgregor can get a better understanding of how hard defensive shell is to crack, he won't be as stifled when he's in their trying to clip floyds chin
That Paulie guy is a mature fighter. Very knowledgeable fighter I feel. Conner has a lot to learn so hopefully he puts that false confidence away and soak it up to make this at least a good fight. Great report folks thanks
Fair play to Paulie, he does seem like a genuine bloke. He talked shit about Connor then admitted he was trying to get fight himself but once the mayweather fight was signed he said he jumped at the chance to spar with Connor because this is the biggest fight in history and he wanted to be a part of it and have memories ten years from now and be able to say I was there and I was involved. That's smart, very smart. Well done Paulie 🇮🇪
sick chance for paulie. what comentator in history can say i sparred and was part of boxings biggest fight. As hes comentating will be able to tell whats going on smoother
Getting Paulie was really smart. Paulie fights similar to Floyd. No where near as good as Floyd but he's good. Plus Malignaggi knows boxing better than anyone and knows Mayweather and can give some great advice!!!
Both fighters have thought for the past two years this fight might happen / mcgregor ( if he really wants to win ) should have been sparring top level professional sparring partners years / always liked paulie malignaggi - but what can mcgregor lean in a handful of sparring sessions
Paulie is a great fit for Conor to spar and get knowledge from. He is not as fast as Floyd but he would win his fights by outscoring opponents and surviving the 12 rounds. Whoever made that decision is a smart person.
Wonder if Paulie is the kind of guy that would run to Floyds camp after sparring Conor to help give them some insight into what style Conor is coming with and what to look out for
i never was a big fan of paulie as a fighter, but if he had even a little power he would've achieved alot more. he had as much heart, if not more than anyone ever.
having Paulie train McGregor for Floyd is like having a driving school instructor train a a truck driver for the Daytona 500....Paulie is a punching bag, he has 0 great wins in the ring...Conor was better off calling John David Jackson to train him....Paulie is not a trainer.
Puallies doing a good job of giving an intellectual opinion worth listening to as opposed to someone just talking shit or not really caring other then to trash talk. It's a show of respect for the viewer instead o just trying to boast about something, at least so far
Why not train in boxing 2-3 years THEN fight some tune up fights and then fight the champ???? In all actuality thats how normal fighters start out or should.Instant gratification society.
Paulie is more likely to help out Mayweather than Conor. After all Pauli and Mayweather are friends and know each other for a long time. I would't be surprised if Mayweather snoops info from the Conor camp via Pauli....
Paulie M can emulate May as close as he can, it won't be exact but he can get closer than most fighters. I believe they want to see if they can even catch Paulie or if its time to withdraw before Conor embarrasses himself to the point it will hurt him in the future. Paulie is the perfect sparring boxer for him, no power, he can move like May but will it help him learn? NO. Its just a barometer, if Conor looks bad, they will either scrap the whole fight or go through with it and ride it out for what it is, a shit show and entertainment.
my friends brother knows someone from the mcgregor team and they are making paulie fight the mcgregor double because they know paulie is going to blabber to floid
Thane Kyrell fans are fans, not experts. Fans are not in the ring or on the side of the ring. Fans watch the sport, an mma fan can watch boxing and know just as much as a fan. And vice versa
Paulie only fought at 140 & 147 where he had no power, he recently retired after a knock out loss, and he’s well past his prime. If Paulie’s face is unmarked when he covers the Broner vs. Garcia fight next week, then McGregor should be worried.
This sparring could be lose lose for Conor. Either Paulie whips Conors ass and jabs his eyebrow off breaking Conors confidence consciously knowing he's not ready for Floyd.....or he whips Paulies ass (which I highly doubt) and gets a false sense of overconfidents thinking "Sht, Mayweather will be easy, because I just whipped a pro boxer", then get in there and realize Floyd is levels above.
I think Paulie's in trouble. I saw him at the Toronto press conference and he looked really out of shape. I think McGregor wants to send a message so this will be interesting. But yeah if McGregor can't damage an out of shape, retired Paulie then it's done he has absolutely no chance at beating Mayweather.
dude looks like hes recovering from a hangover
Blackbird InTheSky Whilst being told off and being given a lecture about why he shouldn't drink at work and that he's on his final warning
Fecal matter in the cornea my friend.
Blackbird InTheSky he had pink eye
Blackbird InTheSky nah its brain trauma.
Looks like he got makeup on two black eyes.
I hope McGregors camp release extensive footage of his sparring and training sessions after the fight happens. Surely they are filming everything but keeping it all under wraps.
GGMuscle of course they are
GGMuscle have a look at the official CZcams channel called The Mac Life and they put up some footage but have not released any recently
GGMuscle diaz boxed him up mcnugget has no chance against Mr Turner
@Dr. Hershey's Splat you are so delusional lmaooo If and when Conor wins they have recorded everything to make a movie out of it
How can people keep saying he is shit at boxing? Paulie seems like a loyal person who will help Conor and will only use his inside knowledge ringside as the fight is happening.
I am looking forward to Paulie explaining his experiences training and sparring with Conor. while commentating the big fight
He made some comments when he was trying to get the fight but in general he is a good guy to have in the camp
Yeah but if he fucks up Conor in camp and he talks about it he'll be called a snake relentlessly.
Brzy I believe Connor's going to beat his ass and prove to them that he can beat Floyd
abeeftec then you are just as stupid as Connor.. .watch his boxing vs nate diaz...then compare that to any footage of Floyd.. .even though Connor is taller he is going to come up short. money is too smart
I would pay to see the sparring matches
so would Floyd
nercoG Floyd has beat 49 pro boxers I don't think he's worried about conor
I think he's worried, maybe not about Conor, but about his inability to perform well. He's weak and he knows it. His interviews show that, he even said it himself. Now you may say he's just selling the fight, but his body language showed otherwise. He's gonna crumble and get beat.
I wonder if Floyd has any moles in the camp, even the sparring partners themselves, he will have to be careful how he selects them and sets it all up
Adrian Del Favero 47*
McGregor just wants to land a solid left on Paulie one good time for talking shit in the past
They're probably gonna pay him to not disclose everyhting
King James Knowing Paulie's skills, it'll be along time before Conor lands a good left on him.
+Hector Pueblo yea your right Paulie still gots a long 24 before he gets in the ring to get cracked by an crisp McGregor left cross,
Paulie says McGregor’s team was adamant that they spar before the Garcia-Broner fight. It seems that McGregor wants Paulie to cover that fight with a marked up face.
Your the only person that realized that 🇺🇸🇮🇪🇺🇸Pauline is a weasel piece of shit!!👊🏻
"He'll have to answer for what he's said"
Been watching these guys interact starting at the press tour and this relation is turning into a great tandem for insight into MMA&Boxing🤙🏼
I am an mma fan first but that is something I don't think people understand about boxing. It doesn't become easier when you take away the other weapons such as kicks and grappling. "Do i need to go down there and slap some heads?" You'll do nothin schaub. Fookin nothin.
Lol I like how he said " the referee just wants too see the fight and not referee 😂😂
Brendan shaube "Paulie you getting looked after? Or do you need me to slap some heads together." ME: you'll do fooking noothing.
thumbnail debunks that McGregor is black from the waist down
Connor should bring in Lomachenko.
Chris B that's a good call actually :)
Chris B nah, he will enter the fight having lost all confidence. people dont understand that confidence is something that can only be gained, maintained then grown. no matter if a guy looks confident, they have to do things in sparring and the fight to build it.
Miki Miyazaki Yeah Lomachenko would probably make him look silly.
Too late.
it'd be good for experience though, confidence also grows from experience. Not that I was saying he would do well against lomachenko but variety is also always a good thing. :)
It ain't Paulie in the public you gotta worry about. It's Paulie behind closed doors that you need to be worried about.
DANTE DIABLO this comment, yes
They should have Pauli spar the Conor look-a-like. So he can run and tell Floyd whatever he wants.
Cool vid. That's the most stoned I've ever heard Shaub
Jamie maybe after the fight. But Paulie is a loyal guy otherwise Conor wouldn't bring him in. I can guarantee that.
Lol in the end when Paulie was discussing about the technical points, face of shaub was like wtf is he talking about I don't understand
They better release this sparring footage
There's high then there's Brendan Schaubs interview with Paulie malignaggi high
Paulie gets in ring. Bada boom bada bing. Paulies snoring.....
The moment when no power Paulie knocks out McNugget 😂😂😂😂😂
its 2017 and we have mobile flatrate data every where. how is it possible phone audio is still as bad as 1920?
Respect to Brendan keep up the good work, hope to see some inside spa footage aha. I'm all for the red eye..... But pink eye??
I think another good thing about Conor training with Pauline, is that paulie has a very similar defense as Floyd has. So if mcgregor can get a better understanding of how hard defensive shell is to crack, he won't be as stifled when he's in their trying to clip floyds chin
Ufc should hire both of you to call fights in the future
This podcast doesn't need video
I would like to seem them sparr! I'm Italian and Irish so it's good to bring them together
You can't beat 30 years of experience as Floyd has since he has been boxing since 10 or 11 years old ..the knowledge this guy has.
That Paulie guy is a mature fighter. Very knowledgeable fighter I feel. Conner has a lot to learn so hopefully he puts that false confidence away and soak it up to make this at least a good fight.
Great report folks thanks
it's overkill now...call me in august...
Alqueda beheading video quality 👌🏽
Connor is paying him so he's not going to bad mouth him
Fair play to Paulie, he does seem like a genuine bloke. Sort that eye out man 👀👀😂😂😂
#WengerOut

i never was a big fan of paulie as a fighter, but if he had even a little power he would've achieved alot more. he had as much heart, if not more than anyone ever.
if I was a boxer, id dress up like an old retired former champ boxer that nobody remembers & sneak into my own presser
The reality is in a boxing match Malignaggi would beat Conor on points
having Paulie train McGregor for Floyd is like having a driving school instructor train a a truck driver for the Daytona 500....Paulie is a punching bag, he has 0 great wins in the ring...Conor was better off calling John David Jackson to train him....Paulie is not a trainer.

Say what you want, but Paulie IS an ethereal boxer. When he retires he'll be a great coach. Sweet science!
Puallies doing a good job of giving an intellectual opinion worth listening to as opposed to someone just talking shit or not really caring other then to trash talk. It's a show of respect for the viewer instead o just trying to boast about something, at least so far
Paulie would be a great trainer
Brendan is totally pro Connor but he has almost no faith he will win. Realistically
Conor McGregory might get stopped in sparring messing around with ole Paulie
Brendan is the biggest Connor fan
Didnt know Schaub could get an earbud in those tortellini ears
Paulie seems like cool dude
A few weeks to learn how to box against one of the best technicians ever. :D
I was so hyped about this 5 days ago but I can't give a shit since Chester's gone
Paulie malignaggi is going to be a spy for Mayweather.
They want to get Paulie in sparring before he's completely back in shape lol
Trust me will have a proper knock and ill bounce his head on the canvas -nick diaz
Davy Jones "under a specific set of rules to keep you alive" - Conor McGreggor
Huh You see how paulie is letting it be known now that he is going to be jet lagged and tired by the time they spar.
joe calzaghe would be the first only person i would call
Why not train in boxing 2-3 years THEN fight some tune up fights and then fight the champ???? In all actuality thats how normal fighters start out or should.Instant gratification society.
Can't believe the McGregor camp trust this guy. He's been a huge Mayweather supporter for ever. Really surprized they letting him in the circle.
I truly believe the world of boxing and Mayweather fans are in for a humungous shock! #FirstRoundKO
Paulie seems like a good bloke.
Paulie is much smaller than Connor but he should still out box him.
Conor dips his wraps in plaster of paris like Margarito, smashes Paulie up and sends him to report back to Mayweather.
wats up with the eye brendan u been doing bits again
So this title is misleading
I believe McGregor was a boxer who liked MMA and became the UFC champ. Something like All-Ireland Junior Boxing (amateur) champ?
What their gonna be doing? Mcgregor and Paulie have business to handle. Paulie was talking shit
Paulie is more likely to help out Mayweather than Conor. After all Pauli and Mayweather are friends and know each other for a long time. I would't be surprised if Mayweather snoops info from the Conor camp via Pauli....

mayweather hit Ortiz with a lot of elbows which is why he head-butted him
What Paulie will get out of Sparring with Connor. Is if Connor wins, Paulie can say he showed Connor how to beat Floyd.
interview him after
The real main event lol
Pauli M is the real dope.
mcgregor wants his knock asap
my friends brother knows someone from the mcgregor team and they are making paulie fight the mcgregor double because they know paulie is going to blabber to floid
Schaub looks like a major stoner now, nice
I find it super insulting when boxing talk to MMA fighter or fans like we dont know how boxing works.
Thane Kyrell fans are fans, not experts. Fans are not in the ring or on the side of the ring. Fans watch the sport, an mma fan can watch boxing and know just as much as a fan. And vice versa
Paulie gonna snitch Conor's moves to Floyd lmao
If McGregor can't embarrass Malignaggi in sparring he has no chance to touch Floyd Mayweather...
BlackIce 12 He has no chance.
BlackIce 12 Paulie will embarrass Conor.
Paulie is like 34 wins - 8 losses......
He needs Lomachenko, he is the only one who would actually beat floyd.
Paulie only fought at 140 & 147 where he had no power, he recently retired after a knock out loss, and he’s well past his prime. If Paulie’s face is unmarked when he covers the Broner vs. Garcia fight next week, then McGregor should be worried.
Better Call Maul
Imagine if Paulie puts him down...
Conor is going to teach Floyd how to read.
Floyd is going to teach Conor how to box.
Paulie is still looking for his side piece.
Straight cross-eyed at 6:49
Shit . . . That guy from Friends has been hitting the roids
I hope Paulie doesn't knock out Connor too.
show artem how to fight Pauline we might get 14-13
This sparring could be lose lose for Conor. Either Paulie whips Conors ass and jabs his eyebrow off breaking Conors confidence consciously knowing he's not ready for Floyd.....or he whips Paulies ass (which I highly doubt) and gets a false sense of overconfidents thinking "Sht, Mayweather will be easy, because I just whipped a pro boxer", then get in there and realize Floyd is levels above.
connor just wants to beat Paulie up..
KNOCKOUTS ARE PART OF BOXING, just not in Mayweathers abilities.
steverussell70 Talking shit
Pauline is probably the one that knocked MC Gregor out. Easy work Floyd
On a scale of 1 to Escobar, how much coke did Paulie do before this interview?
Dude if Conor just knocks Paulie the fuck out man, what a crazy world it would be
I think Paulie's in trouble. I saw him at the Toronto press conference and he looked really out of shape. I think McGregor wants to send a message so this will be interesting. But yeah if McGregor can't damage an out of shape, retired Paulie then it's done he has absolutely no chance at beating Mayweather.
There are so many haters for Brendan lmao whyyyyy
