    I see now. Perhaps btrfs has spoiled me, but lvm snapshots do not look like a part of my backup strategy. Perhaps as a preparation for a large system change... I read somewhere that we may use this kind of snapshot for fast replication of a VM configuration. Worth try, I belive.

      Just more options! But a lot of linux VMs will use LVMs by default so good to understand what they are.

    When i run vgs command it shows vfree value as 0 and i can’t create snapdemo. how can I get empty space ?
