Fully understand. Well I could always bring the corsa down to show you guys on the trailer and maybe soften your dad into letting us have a chat with him about his work on these engine 🤣 not to worry, if there’s ever a chance keep me in mind.
I think one of your dads friend has just bought a BTCC Cavalier so may bump into him in the future at classic touring cars.
Everyone has some interaction with a corsa and they may be been slated at the time but they definitely make an impression on you 🤣 My son is about to get on the road in my old V6 corsa, to imprint himself even more into corsas if I haven’t already done that with all the ones he’s seen my own over the years.

A lot of rally cars and the like don’t get decent welding treatment. It’s all mig welded quick and dirty because they know there’s a high chance they’ll get crashed.
Can I work/ clean your shop for free? That work is art😭
Nothing wrong with them welds as I’m sure they would of cranked power on the welder right up to get penetration on the spot move technique.

Couple of little things here and there, could easy get an MOT. Use a 1.2 shell for insurance purposes.
1:19 That you describe this tube frame as a 'full space frame...' would lead me to believe that you are unaware of the fundamental engineering conditions which define a space frame.
Perhaps the term means something different when referring to car frames, in which case ignore!
