fossil hunting ICE AGE fossils, mammoth tusk ivory & horse tooth

Today we go fossil hunting in this gravel pit here in Germany. We can find basically ice age fossils (BONES, JAWS, TEETH of mammals like woolly mammoth, woolly rhinoceros, bison, horse, giant deer,...) which are between 126.000 and 11.700 years old (young pleistocene/ ice age).
A SUCTION DREDGE and CONVEYOR BELTS bring us these wonderful fossils which are laying on the ground of a LAKE in a depth of ~ 20 metres. And with all the gravel, sand, modern wood and stones there are also fossils we can find together :)

Nice to see you back out hunting and making videos,
I've moved to a new location last year and no longer have the huge gravel extraction locally to hunt fossils,
I miss it a great deal,
But at least i can still watch your films to get my fix of the addictive environment of the gravel workings.
