I don't think that this would be very interesting... i mean you dig up 4 fossils, sell them and pay off debt. One fossil sells for something between 1k bells and 7k bells, so it's not really diversified

@@tyler439 u can have multiple nintendo accounts on one switch. when you open the game, it asks you which account you want to use. the island for each nintendo account is separate because of cloud save or sth idk but it works
you can also create an alternative profile on your switch, like I have one literally called "speedruns", so you don't need to throw out 1000s of hours of gameplay
This could work in essence, and you can get almost the same experience out of it, but the official rules for the run require a fresh island, so just doing a separate profile would actually disqualify you from posting the run, if that matters to you.
As a Chinese who plays this game in English and gets super impatient at how long the dialogues take... Damn I wish I thought of changing the language before

if you don't want to delete your world, im pretty sure that just making a new user will allow you to start a new island with deleting your main one
