I've done like 6 tests, BOb will only show up after unlocking both Ember Valley and Starlight Strand + Only after getting the taming bell from Thora West on day 12-13. On new savefiles he typically shows up for me between day 17 and day 20 (I've 5 tested this times so far).

This was very helpful!! I was honestly hoping they'd add the bee drones to help with the ranch because of so many areas that I still needed to discover and wouldn't get back until all my slimes had already scaped from their corrals but I guess it is what it is...
hi late reply, saw a comment on steam saying the devs were gonna add it sometime later in the game. (': I just spent like 30minutes trying to get the drones even though they aren't here yet.
I tried everything for Mochi, but I'm still having trouble with getting Market Link. am I doing something wrong?
WARNING ABOUT UPGRADES: At this current time in the game (posted on 10/16/2022) Slime Rancher 2 there is a bug involving the upgrades, as soon as you get a upgrade you want to get it before continuing to open treasure pods. I am sure this bug will be patched out but do keep in mind at this current time it is still in the game.

I am wondering where you get the last vac storage upgrade to 50 slots after the two treasure pod ones. Im stuck on 40.

The 50 slots comes from a treasure pod. So if you have already opened all treasure pods in the game, it could be due to a bug. There is a known bug in the game currently that if you unlock multiple tech upgrades without crafting the item in the fabricator between each upgrade, the game get stuck thinking you still haven’t found the next upgrade in the treasure pods yet. So make sure to be crafting each individual upgrade before you unlock the next one.

for some reason i do not get the drone key. like i did everything right but she never contacted me to give me the drone key. any ideas? i interacted with all the drones at this point and went back to talk to the one behind the flutter gordo.

i find that things a little bit difficult to understand fully
I'm not going to lie, I personally dislike the warp depot. It's great if you want to have an expansion with only gardens and your main part filled with corrals, but my problem with the warp depot is that you're always doing double work. You're picking the food up, dropping it in the warp depot, picking the food back up from the warp depot and then putting it in the auto-feeders. It's a waste of time imo. Having gardens/coops in the same expansion of the corral is just a lot more efficient. On the other hand, when the drones are reintroduced into Slime Rancher 2 and, if they are able to interact with warp depots... then we could do some cool stuff with that combo. Until then, I'm not a fan of warp depots.
Mochi didn't hand over the drone key until I got to the BOOM gordo loot, not the Flutter, but perhaps it requires both

I was wondering, so if you interacted with 5+ drones and you got the archives key. Do you trigger mochi by new drones or can you visit old ones, and do Open archive story's act like +1?
You need to talk to 3-4 drones to trigger mochi to begin gifting you stuff, archived notes won't count. And I'm pretty sure I didn't say in the video that you unlock the Archive key by just talking to 5 drones.
@@Epokk yes you didn't say that in the video. I was just explaining that I already have the key. But to trigger mochi do I need to interact with 3-4 new drones or can it be already visited once?
@@Jens_DL Are you sure she isn't already gifting you, thing? Because if you talked to 5 drones already, she should be triggered already. As far as my research goes, you need to have talked to 4 seperate drones during your overall playthrough. No revisiting, just interact from the beginning of the game with 4 seperate drones.

i like to sleep until night 2 or 3 times then check the communicator thing, also even though i have been to every drone and done this a few times, she just keeps giving me decorations i already have instead of the market link so thats annoying
I've unlocked and went to all the areas on the map, but Bob still hasn't contacted me. How come?
i've gotten every single treasure pod, but i'm still missing some vital upgrades: the last 2 heart module upgrades, the last dash boots upgrade, and the last two 2 tank guard upgrades. do you know how to get the blueprints for those upgrades? you say that the npc's don't give any of them, right? so how do you unlock those?

If you're getting gifts from mochi, all you can do is wait (or make use of the trick I suggest at the end).

I you see there are many zones that are just cut out or locked under giant stone doors. Those are gonna be the new zones
How do I get the slime toys?
I tried to get the market link for 120 days (from 80 to 200) and I got all blueprints except the market and one of the expansions(the one with chickens) got a lot of chickens in it and I jave 5 fps in it ;-;-;-;-;-;-;
I haven't unlocked BOb yet but I'm on day 35, is this normal?
I saw someone say that the requirement for unlocking BOb is to suck up every type of chicken, including the chickadoos. I don't know if that's true though.
Can you miss a gift if you don't talk to them on time?
No I don't think so. The npcs will not "hang up". They will always wait for you to answer
Tested this out, they'll wait for you untill you talk with them.

I was wondering the same thing... Found all the pods for the tank guard upgrades, but it doesn't seem to want to give me the upgrade. Strange... I hope this gets fixed for existing worlds.

I'm hoping that they adjust the likelihood of getting desirable blueprints like the market link and advanced gordo snare in future updates, because it seems too low right now. I really want the advanced snare but keep getting decorations instead, and I have so much money that the Market Link will be useless to me when I finally get it.

Mate, I got it three times now from her. The problem is that it's just completely randomized.
@@Epokk yeah it eventually dropped for me? I started skipping days to get it quicker started at day 52 and I had gotten it by day 150 I probably just got really unlucky. On the plus side I now have plenty of decorations for free without having to craft 😂
