What do you think of ib in runick generaider in order to search monstruosity?

Thoughts on hop ear squadron?
It + any lvl9 makes Psychic end Punisher.
It’s also useful to dodge targeting effects on the bosses.
And it + any lvl4 (tokens included) makes desert locusts, hand ripping the opponent for one more, and then you can go into Baronne/Chengying through locust’s effect.

Tbh no I didn't think about that card but with the tokens it sounds very cool! It's worth to try it out especially synchro into Baronne for an additional omni negate.

Well my side pattern was when I went first I sided out Witch, Droplet and Evenly which add up to 7 cards so you have 7 spots to side. For those I sided it depending on the match up of course Bystials, Droll, Nib and Talents.
If you need more then I sided out some Runick spells like Destruction or Flashing (depending on the match up they will not be good interruptions) and no worries you don't need a lot of Runick spells because the only reason you play them is for breaking boards and Sleipnir access.
If you have Tip with any other Runivk spell always search Fountain in the draw phase then main phase activate Fountain then a quick spell special sleipnir and now you get 2 draws with Fountain and have a lvl9 body on the field for Monstrosity or for rank 9 plays.

@@riccardo205 You can easily cut nine lives cat I never summoned it. I wished it was Munin but it can be anything you want also Geri is also cuttable I summoned it like 3 times but it was only for going second go into battle and special with Destruction or Slumber Geri to bait 1 negate. So you should've 2 free spots in the extra.
Sadly no I couldn't test it, yet but in theory it sounds really cool handlooping for more and putting out a Baronne haha
You can try it out or not. More importantly is to have fun with this deck and vacuuming your opponent's messy board with Laevatein haha

I played Generaider Runick too at the event and I was truly looking forward to your profile, I also lost against two Mannadium at the event (one of them at round 4 and they told me they just defeated another Generaider Runick, so we probably lost against the same guy lol).
What are your thoughts on the diviner package? I have not played it but I've seen many profiles recently using it. My decklist was very similar to your in terms of ratios, but rather than playing board breakers I opted instead for more hand traps in the main deck directly.
I've seen in another comment you said played condemned witch because you had an empty spot in the deck, what are your thoughts on a single copy of runick droplet? I've not seen anyone playing it but it's helpful to unbrick hands when seen together with stage only. stage+droplet to make him draw let you start with laevatein, loptr+ the summon you get in his DP. Hope it makes sense to you!
Also, how often did it happen for you to brick and do not start with any combo? I was very scared of those instances and played small world to search for loptr/vala using hand traps as bridges in order to always try to start with some combos turn one, but I've seen you do not play neither prosperity nor the diviner package. How have things gone for you?
Besides, last question, post-side going second what were the cards you were most likely to side out, board breakers for other board breakers, or addinng board breakers taking out some runick cards I suppose?

Looks like there were more than judt the two of us playong the deck at the event.
I hope the runick droplet suggestion will be helpful, I've never seen any list playing it and I was skeptical myself because I was like "well if no one is playing it maybe it means it's bad, is it?" but as you said maybe people never considered it
I just wanted to ask you, if you happened to start as a Runick control, would you say you used Hugin in that instance to add fountain?
I've played Hugin but out of more than 20 games I played alogn the week-end I hapoened to have summoned her only once to use the protection effect, and I did cut out Geri because I had seen that since I starting to playtest back in september I never happened to have used it, so I wanted to ask what was your experience with the two of them
Instead of the bystial package in the side I was using shifter, still for the Trarlament matchup, since it made them basically skip their turn and did not affect your own plays too much in terms of using loptr, summoning sleipnir, doing monstrosity, laevatein exc exc. On a random note you can even tribute laevatein for effect to suck your own singke copy of shifter in grave to make space for the second one, in case you happen to have started with two of them lol.
But I understamd you went for the bystials, I would have liked them too in case I would have had S.P., since I suppose you can also easily link off a bystial+runick fusion to go into S.P. and take out two cards.
Oh, for going first I've seen you out the talents, weren't you scared of your opponent playing board breakers like eclipse, dark ruler, droplet or similar?
I opted for anti-spell to prevent those cards (it didn't age well and I lost a game out of it also) but I was qukte scared of my opponent wiping the interruptions away with a single card. How have you dealt with it?
Have the talents been useful many times, or did it happen you saw them and they didn't use any hand trap that triggered them?
Also, last last question, if you happened to win the dice, did you go first or second as a choice?
Since I saw so many board breakers it looks like a going second decklist almost, but the fact we can handloop for 3/4 easily would normally make me want to go first

I tried it mostly in september, and I have seen you can happen to start with double normal summon in hand quite easily, that's why I opted it out, never thought about the condemned, since I did not remember it could summon any Fairy from deck, great tech choice!

I feel like running the diviner package with the 2 soft bricks in a already not super consistent deck is most of the times quite underwhelming.
If you really want another normal, you can test with lonefire to summon mardel but meh, i wont advise for it either. Seem like witch is the second decent-ish choice

I think you should consider your ideas more even if they first sound terrible or no one else is playing it because you have great suggestions and your explanations are impressive even my side deck choices you explained them very well (yeah the Bystials are also there to link off for S:P as you said) I don't even know what to say haha You sound like an amazing player with a lot of potential ngl so believe in yourself and try out your ideas bro. I always try out everything that comes up in my mind and believe me I failed a lot haha but that shouldn't stop us from trying out new ideas.
So try out Droplet I think that can help us a lot more for going first yeah the opponent draws 1 more card but with Harr they don't and if you handloop them it doesn't really matter.
I summoned Hugin like once or twice and yeah it was to search Fountain to get my draws discarding Vala sounds free. And Geri came up going second in the battle phase you can just crash into anything and destroy 1 card which means Destruction and Slumber can also bait negates if they have set up their board with a lot of monsters and then I activated Evenly after baiting their negate. I think they should still be in the extra deck and Munin too because they can come up even if it's a niche situation that happens once out of 10 games at least you have something that can help you to win that game. And as the other guy said Prosperity could be worth to play if you want more consistency.
Okay well damn that Shifter interactions sounds sooooo cool what the hell haha as I said you are really amazing and impressive. It only conflicts with Vala but you can just go for Laevatein set up and Boss Stage and set your Runick Spells for additional interruptions.

I liked Talents because a lot of people sided in Nibiru and Droll (I know Droll is wrong but they still did) if they Ash you wrong you can talent rip 1 more hand card or if you get Nibirud. I just like to have some sort of protection and love hand knowledge which imo is the most busted part in yugioh.
And yes I usually wanted to go first to handloop them or set up Laevatein. Yes I play board breakers but there's no guarantee to always draw them so I rather wanted to go first and if I drew one of them then so be it it's a free attach for Jormungandr. Droplet was nice for going first because you can send your field spell for free and in your turn you can just summon Mardel and search it again.

I do not really like the witch, i run prosps and no evenly, but the runick and gene ratios are the exact same

I hade 1 spot left in the main deck and didn't know what to put in so I decided to put in Condemned Witch. I mean you can play 1 more Runick spell or anything you want. I liked Condemned Witch going first searching droplet and also tagging out for Loptr was very nice.

@@firatd.monkey7330 yeah, the idea is the same, ze amin or tour guide as a 1 card combo NS, if interruppted you can extend with the lvl3 runick and keep playing, also the ability of leon to quick synchro with all the different runicks on opp turn gives access to a lot of extradeck options, you can also do rank 5s with freki + rollerballer.

Which cards do you usually side out with this deck?
Going first you have 7 spots those are Witch, Droplet and Evenly. If you need more then either Imperm or 1 copy of any Runick spell that is not good for the match up (like Flashing Fire against Flunder for example). Put in Handtraps like Droll and Nib or if they play light/dark Bystials and also Talents.
For going second depends if it's a combo deck or midrange. Combo? All the handtraps in like Droll and Nib if Tear then also Bystials. If it's more like Rescue Ace then board breakers Duster Storm keep Evenly, side out Droplet and Witch put in Nib if he plays the Firewall or Isolde package or put in Droll which will also stop those lines.

If you summon LOPTR you can’t negate the first card they play during the Main Phase 1

Wenn die den einen harr rausnehmen, schwimmt man doch das restliche spiel oder? Und klar jedes deck hat eine schwäche, aber dieses deck stirbt doch auch komplett gegen eine ash ...oder?

Nee, und wie soll Harr auf den Friedhof kommen? Den holst du immer aus dem Deck und beschwörst ihn. Bei der Handloop combo nannst du ein Bystial auf Hela kassieren aber das ist so egal dann holst du ein Generaider aus der Hand mit Vala oder wenn du ne Runick spell hast kannst du ein 2. Sleipnir holen und kannst weiter handloopen.
Kurz gesagt, Bystials sind nicht gut gegen dieses Deck. Deine beste Karte ist Vala und sie ist Feuer.
Nicht wirklich. Kannst Ash easy baiten oder banishen (wenn du Glück hast beim handloopen) und wenn er mit Ash auf Boss Stage wartet liegt ein F0 schon. Oder wenn du Loptr auf dem Feld hast ist die Ash auch egal auf Boss Stage.
Das Problem ist eher Nibiru (also für mich war es nie ein Problem aber kann schon sehen wenn andere gegen Nib strugglen) und cosmic. Auch Evenly wenn sie Harr gebaitet haben haha
Natürlich wenn deine Hand schwach ist reichen auch 2 Handtraps oder sogar mal nur 1 aber das Problem können viele Decks haben.

I don't like the Trap you let your opponent Draw 1 card and that's not worth it. There are a lot of strong decks and if you give them 1 more hand card to play then your interruptions will not matter because they can easily play through it with an additonal handcard (why even Handloop if you let them draw 1 more card lmao).
Also yes? Evenly in main is not uncommon in Runick decks lol Also I'm known as the guy who loses most of his die rolls so yeah I wanted to have high impact cards for going second because there is no 1 handtrap that can cover all those decks in this diverse format but evenly can deal with a lot of boards.
@@firatd.monkey7330 Why would you not want 3 additional copies of Bossstage, the card that makes Generaider work in the first place? You could trigger it TWO times per turn, plus it allows droll to trigger.
Evenly cannot even be triggered under Runick most of the time due to BP skips, and its a dead card go first.
@TacoSoulsYT Boss Fight has never been great at 3, even early on when the deck was solely about the bosses. Keep in mind that the deck now plays a lot more akin to a level 9 spam deck than boss control
Giving your opponent an additional card is usually not ideal, but playing 1 to search it if you already have Stage + discard fodder is fine. You really don't want to rely on fight as your way of getting to stage in the first place and the deck really doesn't have any issues consistently getting to it

@TacoSoulsYT I did test Bossfight, I also played the Diviner package, I tried all of them but I wanted a consistent version of this deck and no, Boss Fight is not the ideal way because letting your opponent draw 1 is just too risky especially in a big event. And if you really want to see more copies of Boss Stage you can play Terraforming and I know it's not searchable like Boss Fight but if I can search it then I would search Boss Stage at that point lol
i never feel comfortable playing 1 harr, if he gets banished thats it. I like vala and i understand her at 3 but i like her at 2 because if you dont hard draw her there are so many other ways to get to her so you really only need to see 1 to get her in rotation so i like 2 hela and 2 harr but thats just me of coarse.

I already tested with those at my locals and those cards were terrible. Unnecessary bricks that you don't need. And no joke I opened Trias or Sprite or even both of them together more often than Diviner lmao so no that package just makes you brick more in my opinion, not needed.

@@firatd.monkey7330 I think diviner and trias package is just so good to ignore. Diviner can dump not just trias but also Vala. Trias is not really a brick in hand cause you can always tribute fairy to summon out. It can help hugin to dodge imperm/veiler and also clear hugin from extra monster zone (which is huge cause we don't want hugin there anw). Also trias is a quick effect so you can actually tribute generaider token to pop a card and/or draw on opponent turn. D.D Sprite can just make baron with the normal summon at its worst. I think in general its a good package.
