You're not the only one disputing about TCG grading on cards, after buying a few highly sought after single cards listed for NM for my collection I stopped buying singles from TCG. TCG grading card standard is all over the place I swear, especially from these gold star sellers who lists their singles for NM with no pictures at all and don't even get me started on their shipping. $250+ card in a in a regular white mail envelope is a joke.

Same here, I both a "NM" playset of super rare MSTs from a seller and they sent me cards that all had scratches on the front and the backs were scuffed up.
thats why i check my cards before i send them out and if theres an issue i also send another card of the same value with it

My favorite is the Black Luster Soldier. Was my higest attack monster when i was a kid, and i loved playing it when i was a kid, still love it to this day!
I agree with ordering from tcg player, although I got a 1st Ed DMG LCYW that ended up being better condition then advertised, or I'm blind... but I'd like to think the value I got outweighs the value I've lost from that site on every other order

My favorite card in my collection has to be my Blue-Eyes, SDK-001. I had more then one but sadly life tends to make us suffer lol. My Blue-Eyes has my deepest love because it was my first ever Blue-Eyes, not only that but it survived my childhood.
My favorite card is dark magician because you can branch off and use it in so many ways like playing a deck with dark paladin or by itself with many combos. So many fusions you can use and strategies

I love how he makes up prices, I have looked at most of them and they are always almost 10 times less than what he says.
If you check ebay listings that have sold with the same condition (important condition drastically changes price) they are pretty similar in the ballpark area. Some cards he might have undervalued for example the gbi god cards sold have gone for over 2k along with the most decent current listing at 1200 for the set has all 3 in played condition (you can see whitening on all the edges). This also doesnt even include the graded costs for if he gets them graded 10 (unlikely with current state of psa rn) slifer and obilesk can easily sell for over 3.5k and ra can sell for over 2.5k, and some card values he might be stating the graded price also
Your also not realizing he is pricing based on FIRST EDITION and Mint Condition! There is a huge difference between a random foil in someone's binder and a First Edition stored by a collector. It's actually very hard to find these 10+ year old cards in these conditions.

Tempest UTR - $90 (way under 700)
Aqua Neos UTR - $19 (way under 200)
Wildedge UTR - $135 (way under 500)
Shining Flare wingman - on point at $1000
King's knight - $38
Queen's knight UTR - $52
Jack's knight UTR - $42
(Not even 150 out of the 500)
Flame wingman TLM - $65 of the 500
I'm gonna stop here. Awesome collection. Just hoping he didn't get ripped off and is just over-flexing the prices.
The cards are worthless. It's the grading companies scamming people thinking they are worth a lot. The auction houses and grading companies are making a killing out of these fools. The same thing is happening in the Video Game market.
I remember when I had birthday money to use in March of 2006. I spent it on a Shonen Jump book, which had a copy of Elemental Hero Stratos, 5 packs of Strike of Bros, and pulled 2 ultimate rares. Those 2 cards were Elemental Hero Grand Neos and Neo-Spacian Grand Mole

For some time now I have been teaching my friends how to play Yu-gi-oh the classic old way. Bring it back and we can relive the Golden age of Yu-gi-oh! No more synchros, xyz and especially link and pendulums monsters. You can still use new cards but not the systemic decks that make you play the exact same way every time(how is that even fun?) Bring back making a custom unique deck, different ways to win and most importantly the heart of the cards. I know we all have that memory of drawing the perfect card when you needed it most. It's time to duel!!!!!!!

I used 3 different cards trying to buy one of your mats and every time it comes up with “there was an issue processing your payment information. please update the card you entered to continue” when I have over $1000 in the bank. Just confused!
The one card that I love the most is my unlimited (I didn't know 1st editions existed when I was a kid) LOB Exodia the Forbidden One. This was and to this day still is my favorite duel monster (Yes, I have the four limbs in LOB, too).
I have a first edition red eyes black dragon with a misprint on the yugioh text in the back. Definitely my favorite card in my collection.

Ultimate rares sometimes just come with whitening. They are such sensitive cards. Any amount of pressure will ruin them in some way.

Yo Sammy-boy! My favorite card to collect? Gotta say in general it’s reptiles, but singularly, I LOVE KURIBOH! He is definitely my favorite. Honestly, Kuriboh has saved Yugi WAAAY more times than Dark Magician. So yeah, kuriboh is my favorite.
