Not only is Overwatch a first person shooter, which goes against Lego guidelines, but that is the exact same reason for why Lego hasn't done anything in the way of Portal sets, despite the portal gun not actually being a firearm, but a reality breaking quantum tunneling device, though I suppose Lego is probably also against encouraging people to shatter the laws of physics and rip apart the fabric of space-time, likely more than they are against allowing violent imagery in their sets.

These rules are interesting and must only be applied to the Lego sets because there are LOADS of times Lego breaks them in their tv shows and and videos games, most obvious being how people die in Lego games all the time.
But the most interesting point of contention is how the Ninjago tv show breaks these rules. A few examples off the top of my head are:
    1. A character was naked in a bath tub and forced into a fight. Only his chest was shown but it was obvious he was naked and he was not happy about it either.
    2. Several unconsensual kisses including one where Ronin (a middle aged man) does it to Nya (who is certainly significantly younger than her) to distract her. It's not as extreme as the guideline rules but it's certainly skirting the edge.
    3. There is a scene with a sailor who is very clearly drunk. He's collapsed, he's surrounded by bottles, and his slurring his words. They never explicitly *say* he's drunk but it's pretty obvious.
    4. There's no irl racism but the ninja encounter races of orcs and goblin-like creatures who are clearly bigoted towards each other. It's very clearly an allegory for racism.
    5. There's bullying because, come on, it's an action theme and you have to have a bad guy. Most of the time the villains are doing things that are *worse* than bullying but sometimes the kid antagonist bully characters too.
    6. And finally, there is *a lot* of death, violence, and killing in Ninjago. Characters, especially villains, die all the time and sometimes it's even shown on screen! There are certainly moments of torture and terrorism too, I'm taking about building being blown up (with people inside) and other buildings falling down and killing people. Some people are just plain killed because they are shot in the chest by a weapon. One bad guy is even burned alive by molten metal. These deaths aren't even implied, they directly impact the plot, are explicitly acknowledged, and serve as motivation for several characters.
Again, I'm cartoon that Lego has different rules for it's media than it does for it's toy sets, but that media was made to advertise these toys sets and I promise you that there are kids reenacting the violent and sketchy scenes I mentioned above when they play with the toys.

On the topic of LEGO Advent, just last year LEGO made something even more specific to the Christian tradition by having the Christmas wreath set be able to be rebuilt as an advent wreath with four candles. The world today believes Christmas is about Christ but it isn't and it's all started back in the 4th century when Emperor Constantine caused the problems we have today: Paganism in the church. Forgive me for not saying the exact details because I'm saying this from memory but this is how it goes: sometime in the 4th century during Constantine's reign he saw the Believers (The Followers Of The Way as the bible says it or "Christians" as the world says it) sharing the Gospel to the world of that time and he decided to use God's Word to bring him power, and joined (and created?) The Roman Catholic Church. Through that church he gained control over the world of that time and he wanted more people to become Catholics that he may expand his control and to do that he confirmed, bringing man-made, pagan traditions to that Church, and that continues today, people still do this pagan traditions. Same with Halloween, except the Catholics now claim it's for the long dead Apostles like Peter. Now back to Christmas. Christmas, December 25th is a day for many ungodly pagan religions such as Nimrod and the pagan Roman sun god and many others. All Constantine did with these pagan traditions was bring them in that church and called it good and all was well for them. This applys to pagan practices too. They have taken many practices from other religions into the Catholic Church. The Bible never once said to celebrate Jesus' birth, not once does it say it. The only "traditions" I can recall from memory that God commanded is Passover (which applys to the Jews but I believe Believers can still take part in it) and Communion which Jesus said to do in rememberance of him. Modern Christianity is so conformed and deceived, that many who say they are Christians, are not truly saved. Just like as Jesus said, (I'm saying this verse from memory) "Many will come in my name saying, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in your name? And done many works in your name? And I will say to them, depart from me, I never knew you." We are not perfect and yes we fall to the things of this world time after time after time, but through the Lord's grace and mercy, we can be forgiven and continue to strive to do his will and not our own will. (some verses: 1st John 1:9 , John 3:16 KJV translation, the pure, perfect English translation of God's Word) and one more thing, since I brought up Catholicism. Another pagan thing added to the Catholic Church is the worship of a female being over the creator. In this instance it is Mary. From I remember all religions out in the world have a female goddess who is higher in leadership and status over a baby boy god. I know I've said a lot and there's so much more and if you have any questions feel free to ask (hopefully I didn't make this confusing and forgive me if I messed up some information) but also don't just take my word for it, I suggest you research this (in books especially) for yourself and read a KJV translation of the Bible and even take a look at certain CZcams channels saying and teaching these things. Try searching these CZcams channels such as truthUNedited, real bible believers Pastor Kim, and Spencer Smith's Third Adam Series. Again, feel free to ask any questions and God bless.

In general, I think there lego should make themes targeted for adults because lego isn't just a kids toy but most of the stuff has an age suggestion of 8-9 years old. If we want more sets like stranger things or simpsons then lego should put an age suggestion of 16-20 years old on them. I think if we want sets like the flying wing or even the tank from the last crusade, which never got a set, lego should target them for adults

I don't think slave Leia is that bad if I'm honest, while it does kinda go against the guidelines, they were copying it from star wars so I don't really think it counts. BTW another banging vid from my man. You are Just2Cool!

So Lego rules are, No religious references building or symbols or people. Yet they put out a set of the Taj Mahal - a mosque.
Where is the Notre-Dame then ?

The main structure of the Taj Mahal, the part that the LEGO set models, is a mausoleum. The mosque appears to be a separate building which is not recreated in the set.

You know, the Flying Wing was based on a whole set of prototype and canceled Nazi aircraft deisgns that never got off the ground.
Oh, and the Fighter Plane Attack set had the D-EKVY, which is just a Bücker Bü 131 (a real Nazi plane) done up in a fancy paint-scheme. Something tells me that that set will never get a rerelease.

The lego wine fact: the Dutch word 'steengoed.' Means great, but it's an pun, using the word steen (meaning: stone or brick.) and goed (meaning: good or well.)
Aka, it is an pun based on the lego steentje (lego brick.)
