It's amazing when game developers go back and polish & update older games. Playing EBF 4 when it just came out was by far my most memorable experience during all my time on Kongregate.

@@xangelmoonx You know, I was going to make a similar complaint, but... yer right. They really are. Though, granted a little of the grandeur of the Creation and Destruction Engines is lost if they show them before you encounter them at the end of the game. Up til then, you only expect the Godcats themselves.

I still remember when I played this as a child, and it brings back many memories, this game was very important to me and it still is, so much so that I started playing the last installment of the series.
EBF5's recent update got me back into it. I still need to beat it, but this time, I brought friends into the fold. So +2 sales for ol' Matt. And one of the friends enjoyed EBF3 and 5 so much, he's getting EBF4 now... so +3 sales, I guess.
I only found this chance to say it,but well,here it goes: Thanks for doing such a beautiful and increidble series such as EBF there,Matt,all of the games are simply great in many aspects,it's even one of,if not THE best RPG series I've ever played in my life,and I appreciate and respect all the effort and dedication you put on the whole series,because you did a wonderful job with all of it there,and well,the games have been a part of my life for a long while and even helped me to deal with some sad days on the past,so thanks for being such a great developer and for giving us such a fantastic game there,and I can't wait to play the new update for EBF4 soon too,>W

hey im one of the persons you sent the game to in a giveaway im supper happy i got the chance to own it back them i really enjoyed playing it and after many long hours i had completed it whole, loved that game a lot , i played ebf5 on kongregate since i couldnt buy it on steam aswell but wasnt able to finish it due to some problem but i trully apreciate your work and effort when making the game , and lance is my favorite character to play on both games ^~^

ahh memories, I remembered when EBF 3 about came out, I saw the trailer and think "hmmm interesting game", I search for EBF and played the first two game, gosh It was fun and I love it. I played EBF3 on Kongregate, I still remember I can't beat the stupid giant squid boss in easy and I figured out I use fire to fight LOL
and then EBF 4 and 5, ahhh memories, from a duo Matt and Natalie -> Trio Matt, Natalie and Lance -> Anna joined in (and Noleg too). Amazing journey,. Oh I won't forget the Soundtrack and the song by Phyrnna, Gosh It so amazing and so nostalgia, EBF4 has the best soundtrack of all (at least in my opinion), and still good to now, heard some of the old EBF music got remixed in EBF5 and the old map, I was cry a little bit because of the memories has brought back to me

@@MattRoszak when i change to 2.0 .MEOW files disappear. also in localhost there's the swf folder but not the .sol files.
I don't know if i have to play in 1.0 and save in other slot or something like that
@@k.7504 If you haven't played in a long time, it's possible you don't have the .sol files anymore. Playing and saving on version 1 again should make some new ones.
@@MattRoszak I turned the game to 1.0 thend copy and pasted those files and then turned to 2.0 again. ty matt

Just to let you know, the game likes to crash A LOT on Windows 10, just letting you know! It likes to crash 30 minutes into any battle like a boss battle, the dark players really get the game crashing and I'm worried about Godcat's fight
