Narcissists are difficult people to deal with. In general, people with narcissistic personality disorder are self-centered and have a lack of empathy, which is why it seems so easy for them to hurt everyone around them.
If you want to shut down a narcissist, it’s their ego you should be aiming at. On that note, I’ve found the most clever and funny things to say to a narcissist online and compiled them in this collection.
I hope this hilarious comeback list will help you bring your narcissist back down to earth once and for all. However, I’m sure they’ll instantly engage in self-defense, so be ready for an insulting comeback from their side too.
As long as you are not in danger, try this. If they are standing on their soapbox and putting you down, complaining, criticizing you or whatever, look at them right in the pupils as if you are looking through them. Let them go on and on. Do not come on do not come with the anything no matter how tempting because defending yourself or arguing back is pointless. The only thing to stay at this point is, "uh huh.. uh huh..." then move your eyes to something above their shoulders like their ear, forehead, chin, teeth as if there was something stuck on it like a piece of food, a bug,.. . And then keep switching between looking at them in the eye and let's say, their ear. They will start wondering if they've got something on their ear, or their tooth, wondering what the heck you are staring at. They will be dying to ask you what you are looking at but they won't and you will notice that they will either touch that part of their face to see if there's anything stuck on there and soon they go somewhere else where there's a mirror only to see nothing. I started doing that every time, looking at their ear , back to their eyes, to their forehead. Back to their ear,.. Shockingly one time they finally asked me why I kept looking at their ear and I chuckled for half a second.. "your ear, it's doing that twitching thing again." They will start looking bewildered and feel paranoid. Say "yeah! I've noticed it only does that every time you're angry or upset about something." And what's funny is they will touch that part of their face or even go look in a mirror ASAP but what's funny is they can't look in the mirror and be yelling at their own reflection to see what you're talking about. And it's not like they can go ask someone else if their ear is doing that because of course only you see that side of them...

Best not to engage in any conversation with a narcissist at all, that just fuels their fire. You never have a last word with a narcissist. These are funny though.
