Wow he is looking much better. Nikki you do have a way with animals. It was much more pleasant watching him being spoon fed instead of a syringe being forced down his poor little throat. But I can tell you are doing a good job. PS that is a super cute moustached parakeet :)

He is just the most adorable parrot ever, I use to have one but he died sadly, he wasn't fit for life with my family, I was away for a while and my parents didn't like him so he got really sick, I'm till mourning over him even tho he died 3 years oga

Lol the bird in both the videos are different, first video bird's beak is red and second video bird's beak is not so red more like yellow and this bird is smaller then the first one
The Baby formula is WAY too thin....the baby can easily vomit it and inhale it by accident causing aspiration pneumonia...so I would mix it a little bit thicker to be safe...how is this one doing? I saw your comment in the avian forum and you said that one died
can u please give me some advice. There really isn’t much information online about moustached parakeets. Correct me if I am wrong; all babies are born with orange beaks, later they all turn black, around a year males beaks turn back to orange whilst females stay black. Now, what age does the beak go from orange to black? X

Hey I was wondering if you could help me. My baby moustache is 12 weeks old, I've only had him for 3 days and was told he was "weaned" eating on his own but still asked for formula. He's barely eating on his own. I'm feeding him 3 times a day. He started weighed 114g yesterday morning prior feeding and has dropped to 100g today. I can't find any info on what's a healthy weight. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated

You said this is caused by food too hot or too cold? Is there a guideline for parrots you can provide to hopefully prevent this? Any tips??
