This is beauty at its best, I'm a 73 year old grandmother and I have watched every Pride and Prejudice movie they bought all the way back to Greer Garson can you believe it and here I am watching this again. I wish I could save this particular piece that you guys are put together so elegantly. You have made a grandmother very happy.

Is it just me, or do this actress absolutely STUN, in all her scenes?
Goodness, but Matthew Macfadyen is sublime in his portrayal of Mr. Darcy. IMHO, his even exceeds that of Colin Firth, who was also wonderful.
That rain scene. She stared at his lips just as much as he did at hers. Not allowed to kiss back then, totally would have happened in the modern times though.

Beautiful video! I don’t know why or how I went all these years without reading Pride & Prejudice; I finished the book a few weeks ago. And I’m a little obsessed LOL I’ve not yet watched any of the movie adaptations but I plan to watch this one. Tomorrow!

1995 BBC version is best and tells the entire story. (If I hadn't read the book or watched the BBC version I would have swooned over this version.) This movie left IMPORTANT characters out. Elizabeth and Darcy never met in a meadow at the end, etc. The editing and scenery are gorgeous but left me unfulfilled as I had seen the 1995 version.
That’s my favorite version! It was the one I first watched with my mother as a girl. It perfectly encapsulated the essence of the book in casting, design and direction. I’m working on editing a video for the BBC series, but there is so much content to choose from 😭
