The aggro/mech hybrid list: fabrary.net/decks/01HB9PCRXZA... This list if you want to try out the moonshot sideboard plan: fabrary.net/decks/01HB55XVA7B... / teklofoundry
Update: made a hybrid maxx list that solves the sideboard problem, but still want to upload them all individually to give people more build options. that deck tech will come out soon!
How is Face Breaker preventing damage in this deck? Is there some way to play it as an instant? The only way I see it blocking damage is against wizard but they play at instant speed anyways and would just go around the breaker.
Love the deck! I agree with the points. I would say experiment with some 2 costs. I try like heck to keep two drivers in play going into my first boost. That way I can go 0 cost boost into 2 cost boost for free and then use a blue for maxx/banksy. 3 card 12-13. Then you spike with MaxV/Moonshot. Allows you also to play off 3 card hands and have some block value when you need it. Also, the biggest question I keep asking is "will this deck ever be better than a boost Dash that starts with Pounder?". I still can't answer that confidently yes.
could see 2 costs working! they work the same with foundry heart, i just think its dangerous to activate it more than a few times a game (but throttle is very strong). so far ive put like 8 hours of testing in with my local group and the conclusion seems to be: "just play OG dash"
Any thoughts on adaptive plating, given that having an item around is part of the game plan, is it worth to use one for 3 block, mostly thinking against aggro.
Playing fender bender over the "cant be blocked by equipment" to me looks like a straight downgrade, the opponenent never wants to block that with equipment, but can if necessary, why even give them that option? Both are 1 for 4 boosts
out pace is always a 1 for 4, but in tight late game situations fender bender can become a 1 for 5. theyre both bad (but needed because theyre 1 cost boosts) and you can interchange them as you see fit
@@TheTekloFoundryit is only a 1 for 5 if that is better for the opponent than not blocking with equipment. I agree for 99% of cases they are the dead same and you could just choose based on artwork tbh.
Why wouldn't you just take the hyper drive dash builds that were floating around and just replace dash with Maxx? And just keep pistol and high octane ? You would only really have to replace teklo core and spark? Maxx can easily run jump starts and doesn't need to worry about trying to include crankshaft? He seems like the perfect boost hero to me.
i could try to brew a list! the opportunity cost to give up pounder or chamber was too much for a slightly easier resource curve or jump start, but i could see maxx working with the shell
@TheTekloFoundry also why no twin drive? Card is insane if you go balls to the wall. It allows for a double max Velocity turn you do have to run Achilles tho.
@@TheNoarod didnt fit the cost curve of the deck, at least for this iteration. wanted to min max 1 cost boosts instead. throttle and twin drive could come in however
I think that, while maxx can do a lot of aggro, his other main powercard is mechanoid. He has an engine to facilitate options otherwise, but mechanoid is his big powerplay, and how I saw him winning games on talishar. EDIT: also hyper scrapper.
Tbh your build for max is not super good. If you think about the potential you can keep 7 hyper drivers for most of the game

Really excited to see your lists, this is gonna be an interest couple weeks to months of brewing.
recorded all them yesterday, 6 in total. so my current plan is to release 1 a day for the next week!

you can play it on the opponents turn, it is an instant equip

yep! i think it is better than achilles most of the time
I’d be curious about soup up instead of quickfire. If you’re boosting every turn and destroying a driver, it seems a lot more consistent as a 0 for 4
One other idea is gigawatt over quickfire because it fits on turns with 0 cost boost or foundry heart and pushes banksy to 7 to push the onhit
nice thing about gigawatt is its ability to buff the wrench too!
How does it perform in second cycle how does it utilize all the blues being pitched. Interested but not sold
2nd cycle is the same as any other aggro deck: you can either present your best threats all 1st cycle or pitch for the 2nd
I thought tokens disappear if the leave play?
Many of the Scripts and items in general are gonna be way better in Dash I/O. Look forward to all these lists.
agreed! they all seem built for her specifically, while the hyper driver payoff cards seem made for maxx
