When I drive my Black 1986 Fiero GT, it's a driving experience. It gets a lot of looks, and people 40 and under always ask what it is.
I can appreciate becoming engaged with going through the gears of the 4 speed manual transmission while creating the crackle of the exhaust when downshifting. The way the road feels inches below you as you carve the pavement feeling the feedback through the steering wheel. It won't throw you back hard. However, it loves to be thrown around a twisty road. Anyone who owns or owns one knows exactly what I mean. That old saying "don't knock it, till you try it" rings true for the Fiero.
I just recently found our old 87 Fiero GT. It took me around 15 years to see it in person. After it was sent to a local junkyard in 2005, I have the opportunity to get it back.’it was purchased brand new by my grandfather for my grandmother back in 87

Thanks man, absolutely fell in love with the car, currently filming part 2, but waiting for two parts right now, which sucks, kus I can't do or film anything until they get here.. watched a bunch of your videos, the painting of the vents, installing the led light, polishing the lights, the custom intake you did, and painting the plenum... and yeah, it's about damn time the fiero's made it to youtube.. there's like no good content for them on here, other then like 2 or 3 guys. My 87 Gt is Black with Silver skirts. Also mine is the 5 Speed Manual. Nothing wrong with an Automatic. Can't wait to see her all finished.

I had a V6 Fiero when I was young, man I loved it - cheap thrills, the fun per dollar on a Fiero is great.
Those 2.8 l sound nice, they sound better than they perform.
I had a 87 white fiero gt 5 spd. I loved the 2nd gear pull. Just be weary of those side windows that have the GT logo on them. They are glued on and will fly off when the glue gets old.
For that price, I wouldn't care if it didn't have an engine.
I have an 86gt just like that. mine is white also and 4spd manual
The power windows have always been slow in these cars. There are upgraded motors available. There is no knob for the manual passenger side mirror. All years were available with optional power mirrors. The 84-87 headlight motors were crap. The 87-88 motors are preferred.

@@flagboi1507 these are my two favorite hobbies, cars and wrestling.. I know the whole video is about the car, but did you notice the Undisputed Era theme at the end... yeah.. I chose to make it one channel, because I want to bring the two communities together.. as I'm sure there are car guys/girls who love wrestling, and wrestling guys/girls who love cars.

Fuel pumps go bad on these if they sit for along time
Suggestion: Ditch that ugly concrete gray interior and switch to black.

In the process of filming everything, and waiting for parts. Cleaning these valve covers is a pain, as it's freezing here, and using the pressure washer would just cause the hose to freeze up, so I have to do it all by hand. You can get updates on my instagram @cus7ate9 as well.
The ignition control module is a common problem on this engine.

dude i littarly had the same story and i am working on one to but i am 14 but dude i had to do a lot more that i had to do than just put a quart of oil and a new battery but thats one heck of a problem u have there good luck and i hope i dose not catch on fire
I'm literally about to start filming replacing all the fuel lines, fuel filter, injectors, etc. Everything is getting replaced and or refurbished on this car.
If you’re in the area I think your in, try and hook up with the northern Illinois fiero club, they are like the go too people in the fiero world.

The passenger mirror is adjusted by hand, the pad in the middle is for electric mirror only and does both mirrors

@@untitledcarshow4806 Going to do it as soon as it gets a little warmer, I bought every single fuel component, feed and return lines, rail lines, seals, gaskets, Injectors, regulator, sending unit, pump. every component is brand new. Can't wait to install it all.! it's just way too cold right now

@@Cus7ate9 yeah, that’s gonna be delightful, fuel leaks are the worst! Hoping for your sake it’s a rusty fuel filter or something easy!
The frames in these cars are very prone to rot especially in areas where road salt is used.
